First time grow. Can someone please help me design my grow cupboard?

I'm planning on growing 1-2 plants in big cupboard. As this is my first grow I would appreciate some input from someone who knows a little bit about an ideal setup for my situation.
Im using 1 400watt HPS lighting system and the cupboard can be modified in order to create more space.
In the future i'm looking at putting in a small hydroponic setup for 1 large-ish plant.
I've got one plant ready to go in as soon as i've got this all ready and will be painting the inside of the cupboard white as soon as its ready.
ANY SUGGESTIONS AND RECOMMENDATIONS ARE WELCOME!
I will be updating this with photos as I progress along.

In the past i have done grows in wardrobes and cuboards, i came accross a few problems and the main problem was the heat, i was using a 250w hps and was having trouble keeping the temps to a resonable level, things were simply getting too hot for the plants. With you using a 400w hps you will have a bigger problem than i did. The other problem which wasnt a problem as such but it did limit my growth was the amount of head room the plant had to grow, but it can be done and you can grow decent plants in wardrobes and cuboards, good luck with it and yea paint the inside with flat white paint.
