First time grow, advice/feedback greatly appreciated!

I think I made a huge beginner mistake haha, also don't know if people measure from the dirt/base of plant or include the 5 gallon pots, but measured with the pot mine are 42" tall at the moment in day 1 of flower. and about 29" from the base. I think I will run out of room and probably should tie down if I can figure out how. That's my Sativa plants and my indica plants are about the same height as well. We shall see.

Yours is looking like nice nugs though!

Thanks bro! Yeah I dunno what everyone does but I measure from the soil to top of plant, so my measurements don't include the pot. I don't know much about lst so I can't help there sadly, but there are some great threads on here about it

What's up Ace my friend. I can see why you are getting so stoked. She's a very frosty girl. :hump: Everything Subcool gets his hands on seems to be dank as hell. :-P Ohh, what a problem to have huh? I did a random pic update so be sure to stop by and check it out. OHH, by the way I expect a smoke report on that strain ya got going there. LOL I might just have to add it to my garden. I don't think anyone is looking forward to the smoke update more than I am haha, although I must warn of a potential bias on my part as this is my first grow and I will find it strikingly hard to be critical. She has a high bar to hit though, due to some awesome giveaways at my club, in the past three weeks I've sampled God's Gift, Holy Smoke, Neon Jesus, Jack Sparrow, Nepalese Pilot, and Berry White, which are all usually priced far too high for me to even consider them. Not that I normally smoke schwag, I just know a lot of growers and can usually pick up dank like Blue Cheese, Sour Diesel, and Kali Myst for like $3-$4/gram, so I won't fork out $20/gram and when chances come round to pick em up as freebies/bonuses I always take it. So we'll see how she stacks up hehehe

Just put up a journal of mine from beginning till now. 4 days in flower and my one sativa is growing big whereas my indie plants are getting very bushy.

Decided to leave the popcorn nugs and today I have been rewarded for it! Some of the smallest nugs are blossoming into the frostiest leaves, can't wait til the calyces swell!! Here are two of the small frosties :)

Yeah it's gettin REAL tough to stay patient. I just want the buds to go ahead and swell already, supposed to be magic in the last 2 weeks, which should be right now if it really harvests at 55 days (which based on other grows I've seen with this strain it should, esp. since it was showing pre-flowers for weeks before the flip). The 18th can't come soon enough!

Oh for sure, and knowing me the smoke report will be longer than the combined text of all my previous posts haha, I have a penchant for tangential thinking especially when I'm good and medicated, with the warm smell of colitas wafting round me :bigjoint:

Cool man, I'll probably get around to updating my journal here in the next day or so. The girls are growing fast as hell so I'm thinkin I'll have to top them much sooner than I anticipated. I think the reason for it is the fact that I don't just pour water into the pots from a jug. I took a water bottle from a multi pak and punched a hole in the top and water that way. It takes me about 5 min or so per pot but I don't feel I'm getting the compaction issues like I was before. Anyway, thats my theory and I'm stickin to it. :bigjoint: Peace....Jointed

Oh thats awesome! I'm always looking for ways to help prevent compaction, it can be a real pain, I just finished dealing with it myself. The good news is that the Myco Mycelium that I first thought was mold seems to have fixed the soil's water absorption/drainage issues I was having (With the help of a few drops of detergent). I'm lookin forward to your update!

Thanks man! :) I will for sure post details, I'm hoping for at least an ounce but I'm not getting my hopes up, I'll be happy with whatever she winds up weighing.
