Basically my friend and i had the idea to grow weed and we just jumped into it...right now we will be 12 weeks in on this thursday (7/16). we have 6 plants, 5 males..1 female..and all of our plants are right at or taller then 6 feet...now when are we gonna be expecting some bud?

ummmm...... 5 males???? You will not get any buds w males and the 1 female will be full of seeds if you leave them all together.

Yeah, get rid of those males ASAP. And as far as buds, at six feet sounds like an outdoor grow, so don't expect any buds 'till fall.

With only one female, I'd be sprouting some more seeds - there's plenty of time left!

so the males literally produce 0 bud?? and sorry for dumb questions...we r completely new at this...and yes its an outdoor grow...how many weeks do females usually take to flower outside?

0 BUDS! Males are used for breeding only. If you are not trying to breed you need to kill those males, otherwise your buds off the females will be full of seeds. Where are u located? I'm in nor-cal and we usually don't harvest until October sometimes November

well shit next time i head up the to the mountain ill take care of that..and im in east TN..good ole smoky mountains..but i feel like a dumbass..we hav been watering and caring for 5 worthless plants for 12 weeks.. i was hopin to harvest by sep 1st..before i leave for school

if i was to plant more seeds soon..like tommorow..would they be ready to harvest by october as well you think? i dont wanna start now if they are gonna be flowering in the winter...im new at this and i feel like the cold might kill my plants...any information is helpful though..

well in my garden im going to take out the 5 males...should i leave one male for the new females i am going to plant? like do they need at least one to pollenate it? or throw out 5 males..replace with 5 females? thanks guys, yall are a ton of help!

Unless you want bud full of seeds, you want 0 males. Once the bud is pollinated energy goes into seed production instead of cannabinoid production.

well we made a change of plans on the garden...now these seeds we originally planted were straight blunt weed....mids for sure..is there any chance at all these plants would be better? or will it be the same shit again?

and also should we clip the top of the female to plant into the ground to start another plant? or how should we go about that?

Oh for petes sake!!!! I am usually quite polite but it has been stated 3 different times in this post alone that UNLESS U WANT BUDS FULL OF SEEDS you DO NOT need a male AT ALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

People there is soooooooooo much info on this site, not to mention Google! DO just a tiny tiny bit of reading, otherwise you are going to fuck up your grow...guaranteed!
