First time fimming attemp does it look right?

Last night I filmed my sour diesel auto flower plant. It is 2 weeks and 4 days old. I have topped an autoflower before with good results but I have never fimmed one until last night. Just really want someone to look at the pic to see if it was done right. Going to give it a few more days before lst training. One pic is from last night and the other from this morning.

It's hard to mess up, as I have been instructed by the folks here. She should let you know in a few days how she liked it!

Is it ok to start lst right away after fimming?

I don't see why not. LST can be done at all times throughout veg.

I usually use pipe cleaners when I lst but I am trying something different this time I’m using metal rods like in the photo but I guess my question is is it safe because it is metal in the dirt and not sure if it will rust eventually and be hazardous to the plants? Let me know your opinion on this. Thanks

Metal rods aren't a bad idea but if they rust, they'll create friction with your plants stems and could damage them.

Fim looks good to me.
