Stupid ass photos i give up trying to make them right. Anyways looks like I got 3 females out of 10 on the Qrazy train hopefully there is a keeper in the 3 worth cloning. The deep purple is slowly growing as you can see in the pics the Qt took of and left the deep purple in the dust. The roots are from a male i took out of a 5 gallon smart pot. Looks like i'll have 4-6 female Deep purple to work with. the White pot is something i made out of some left over TPO. Its 97 % reflective so should block alot of heat to the roots and it open at the bottom so roots can grow down further, should be about 25 gallon containers as it sits.

Ok my update for the week. I missed last week. All are doing well, the Deep purple are the shorter bushy ones and the 2 tall ones are my Qrazy train. I have a weird mutated Deep purple. Its Sprouted with 3 starter leaves but always lagged behind the other plants. Once it started heating up it took off and is starting to catch the others. The wierd thing is that the leaves all close in on the center fan leaf. And the entire plant does this. Its in the same soil as all the other plants and gets the same exact food and water. you can see that its green so i dont think it has a defciency. And its a girl. Comments suggestions are welcome

I love how your Dog is next to your QT with a look of "Yeah, I grew it myself." all proud!

I got 2 Qrazy Trains in veg right now. One has super fat leaves and bushy arms growing up wil the other has more hybrid leaves and normalstructure. Can't wait to try them!

Ok well here is my going into flower update and report. The first 2 pics are Qrazy Train the one on the right is more stretchy going into flower then the one on the left its more compact and tight. I had topped both of them twice once at 2 nodes and then again when they were like 4 feet tall. The one on the right is open alot in the middle and shaped like a vase. Its kinda how i shape my rose bushes for air flow into the center and light.

The next 3 pics are Deep Purple The one in the back which is shot 4 and 5 is the one is pulled open more with string. Its not as tall as the other 2 but its uniform in hieght and super bushy with lots of tops. I know sub says they are low yield but i hope with large plants like these that i get a decent amount. Looking forward to making some tinicture with these. The last shot is my deep purple mutant. It is resisting my attempts to clone it. I had all the rest of the plants cloned and it is being stubborn. Also it is the last to flower as of right now it hasn't even started. It had quite a stretch phase i just not to sure about it. Its definatley rode the short bus out of all my plants. I topped dress with about 4 tbs of high P guano on all the plants about a week ago and have been feeding lightly with N. All of my foliage appears healthy although i am getting so yellowing of lower leaves on the Qrazy trains but i think that has to do with light and not nutrients.

One of my QTs was a male. So I pollenated the Flav female and a Green Crack X LA Confidential clone I was gifted. some seeds.

the female is stretchy outside for me as well. Stands at like 5 feet tall.

Tardis those crosses sound really good. Are you running a breeding post. Hawaii has awesome ganja.
I'm not really breedng as much as pollen chucking. My rules are simple, keep a male and pollenate the women with it, then if I have a strain that is super good I know its seeds will be Half as good at least plus some hybrid vigor. I just like keeping seeds for when I miss a strain I can grow out one of its kids and discover a strain of weed for myself that nobody else has ever smoked before.

A lot of good strains were made that way. Every time I come to this site I feel the need to breed some strains. What other crosses have you made?

One that I have to still grow if plant numbers allow, I got big black seeds. Its G13 Labs Femenized (I know, bad) Blueberry Gum bred against a TGA Subcool Void. The goal being to find and narrow a pheno that smells and tastes like the hubba bubba grape gum of my childhood. But so far all my seeds I have tried to grow have been male in all my pollen chucking.

Remember, I don't ever make clones. So when I grow out a strain if its an amazing girl she's gone once she's all smoked. So seeds are the only way for me to keep forward great genetics for my needs.

Why don't u clone? It's unfortunate to lose cool babies. Never had the blueberry gum but if it's as good as the name implies tastewise that is awesome with the void.

I don't clone because I got to stay 100% legal as a patient and caregiver. Clones would mean either A) I have to grow less plants by half, and B) keeping mothers would also limit strains I could try. All in all I decided not cloning was my best chance on trying new medicinal strains. Then if I find something fantastic, I can grow out more seeds, pheno hunt, then breed that until the seeds come out to what I was looking for. however I am a seed whore so I got a lot of strains I still need to try to find that perfect strain to pheno hunt on later.

But if marijuana was legal and I had no plant limits (I don't exactly have a lot of outdoor space to grow a bunch on) I would be keeping tons of clones. I'd be cloning every strain and then leaving it in veg in case it was good. But I know myelf well enough to know taht If I want to stay legal I gotta keep a distance from clones until I can do it legally without worrying about hunting strains like I am now.

The blueberry gum smells amazing, it leans to the bubblegum. The void male when the stem was rubbed smelled just like grape candy. so together I hope to one day find a smell/taste of hubba bubba grape gum in the smoke.

The high is nice. a solid B high. Its stoney and its euphoric and that is all it does. No confusion, no paranoia, no munchies, just stoney and euphoric.

Only being allowed three mature plants sucks. Have you stabilized any of your crosses. I have never bred (on purpose at least) but I am really interested in it. That cross sounds awesome btw.

I'm a caregiver for my friend who has had severe liver problems for the last decade so I can do 6 at a time in flower. I was told by the doctor tho that as long as you are in your plant limits there have been no problems with flowering. However I haven't needed to have more than six females at a time for my and my friends needs.

Never been to your island but on Oahu the police don't hassle anyone. People walk down the street smoking. Good luck with your grows.

Little update here has been a few weeks. The 1st pic is the top of my qrazy train worried about the yellowing been hitting it with light doses of N but doent seem to be slowing the yellowing down any. The 2nd and 4th pic are of the same qrazy train plant as pic 1 i figure i have about 3 weeks till harvest. Pics 3 and 6 are deep purple the first plant has some yellowing on the bottom also and figure these plants have another 4 weeks left. Pic 5 is a close up of a deep purp bud. Any suggestions ideas or anything that will help me finish out my first grow with success would be appreciated. Thanks

You need all purpose fertilizer. heres a couple options that work well:

1 top feed super soil
2 top feed 2 cups ewc with 1/8 azomite and 1 cup guano mixed in
3 liquid fert like earth juice bloom and grow mixed together to make all purpose

pinch those yellow leaves off. then check and see if yellowing progresses after you fertilize. everything looks great man. the ladies just need some food

Hey kushking thanks for the info. Can't really top dress as the roots have completly overtake the soil actually there is no soil its like cardboard now. I have been feeding with liquid seaweed and earth juice bloom as well as some espoma tomato organic fert. Its 3-4-6. the espoma I did add to the top of the soil 4 large tablespoons and watered it in. I have been doing that for about a week now and hasn't slowed the yellowing at all. I can hit them with some stronger N but dont want to burnem this late in the game.

not sure but the epsoma sounds like time release which is y u arent seeing rapid improvement. your plants need readily available nutes. as long as there is even the slightest room you could top dress. but if not, you can try a couple handfulls of ewc stirred up well in 5 gallons of water making a slurry. just add the azomite on top of soil and water in. the epsoma should take care of the major npk (assuming they are available soon) and the ewc/azomite will take care of your micros. earth juice also has a micro and meta-k formula that will balance out the bloom, if you want to go bottled nutes.
