First time ever grower wants to do hydro ...

Start off with 1 tent and get another one as you need, What you think you need/want right now might not aline with how you think after the first few grows. Better start small.
And you will also need extractor fans, circulating fans, timers and maybe some irrigation setup and so on. it's a lot of different parts and expensive to change if you get it wrong.
I Feel your excitement but don't think growing cannabis is a fast process. it will take you 3-5 months before you have the first harvest to smoke. Do yourself a favour and budget in to buy something to smoke while you are growing so you don't do foolish mistakes and stress true the first grow.
Take your time. Run Photos and keep a journal
Appreciated! I will keep a journal in this thread ... cause I will need ur experts advice. I will not germinate a seed before my system is completely setup(nutrients, measurements, lights, starters knowledge, ...) I'm here to learn from u experts! ;) I did bought most of the grow stuff already so I will post pics when all is setup.

I considered to use 1 tent to sharpen my growing skills on letuce(tomato, cumcumber, ...) But could also be a waste of time ...

All growing is learning, Cannabis is not that different than other crops. If you can grow tomatoes you can grow cannabis.

I'm considering to use this Plagron hydro scheme. Because it's easely available in my region and imo not that expensive. Are there better solutions for the Northern Europe region?
I have not used Plagron my self but guess it works.

Finally found the time to further work on the basement. This will be my grow shack hopefully for a few couple of years. Allready started to put up the first tent from SpiderFarm. It just fits the ceiling of the basement. ;)

I have some questions:

1* For the photoperiod plants do I use 1 tent for germinate/veg/bloom stage or I better use both tents?
2* Can I cascade the tents and share the exhaust fan or better each tent it`s own?
3* What is the best product to disinfect the tents, buckets, tools ...

1. I would use both tents, if you got more than 1 grow going.

2. I wouldn't share the exhaust. The chances of the environment being the same in both tents, is minimal.

3. Bleach.

All answers are my opinion.

You could share an exhaust easily if you moved everything outside of the tent and ran duct work to the tent. I have a very short 63 inch and all the airflow is on the roof of the tent. Fan, filter outside.
I am a very new grower and a lot of what I thought would work does not. I am also in a basement that is cold and found out to run the circulation fan the RH drops faster than temps. I am also running hydro dwc and of 3 seedlings I have one raggedplant left.
Any questions on air plumming outside the tent lots of guys will help you with ideas.

Very much appreciated for the tips! Some people write to always harvest it's best to have a separate veg and bloom tent. So after u harvest in one tent u can rotate your veggies to the bloom tent ... and the cycle continues in the other tent ... But is this not cumbersome? I want to use a SCROG net then I need to remove all the stems first from the net put them back in the other net. Or I remove the plants, netpots and SCROG net from one tent to put it in the other ... How to do this efficient?

Yes it can seem like a lot more work but here is the point. Most guys with multiple tents are doing progressive or perpetual grows where the propigation ( seed or clone ) is germinated and then compared to its mates. If I wanted only 3 plants I would germinate 5 or 6 and choose the most active of plants. let them grow for a few weeks and cull 2 loosers. Grow them until middle to late veg and choose the 3 best. Now when you flip lights to 12 /12 you move the plants into the flower tent. Or not. Cannabis plants can be forced into flower which shortens up veg cycle but the plant flowers on its own schedule. May be 12 weeks in veg tent may be less or more.
Now after you have been in flower for a while you clean and maintain other tent and then start the process again.
The point is using a tent alone the cycle to harvest is 2 times longer than a perpetual grow. With 2 tents you harvest a hopefully good amount every 3 months. If you run 2 tents side by side you wind up in trim jail for 20 hours instead of 10.

Hydro is an easy way to get alot of weight very fast once you get a system down. If you get good, you'll have more weed than you can reasonably smoke between harvests if you intend to go perpetual. This can be very good or a pain in the ass, that's your call.

Don't get in over your head. You just need a system, light, timer, medium, compatible nutrient line, and something to measure ph and ec. The nutrient line never needs more than 3 parts, some are one part. Don't fall for the nutrient scam, weed can grow damn near anywhere, it doesn't need 10 different boosters and flower accelerators.

Whatever system you choose, pay attention to how the roots are getting what they need. The fittings should not be leaking. Roots should not see the light. The roots shouldn't be sitting in a stagnant pool, nor should they be dry. They need plenty of air, and enough water/solution. Over feeding is always worse than over feeding, and they are picky, but it takes alot of negligence to completely fall short of the finish line.

I recommend hth pool shock for sterility in the res.

Buildasoil is good, but I would stay away from youtube.

There's alot of snake oil salesmen on there, and you won't learn how to spot them until you know what you're doing.

Growing weed isn't difficult. People make it difficult by trying to reinvent the wheel, creating a square, and selling it at a 200% mark up.

Sounds like fishing tackle and fishing lures for sure. You NEED a cane pole and a hook. You wind up with a graphite ugly stick and an open face Shimano with flippin switch.
I mean a buddy of mine did that, not me
