First time Ever Grow Hydro

Awesome pictures bro. She looks a deeper green than the THC Bombs I have grown. Were did you get the genetics? Also, how the F*ck are you keeping your hand steady enough to take such clear pictures? I have to take a hundred just to get a dozen good ones. With the macro lens, it is even harder for me to steady the camera. A+ bro, I have no advice to offer. I love the Bomb's high. The taste is not the greatest of all strains, but the THC content has to make it a contender for strongest high.

Let her go the whole 9 and a half. The last weeks are the most crucial. Don't rob them of even a single day. Do you have a microscope to check them with?

-Dude

The mic is showing mostly cloudy already. That's funny... That is about my ratio of taking pictures to only being able to post a few decent ones. I have a old camera fone so my pixs will always suck. Have the lens also but there is no where to mount the metal ring on my blackberry so I can't use it. Thanks for the kind words, coming from a master grower like yourself that is a big inspiration to me. I think those beans came from weed-seeds.net I can't wait to see her in 2 more weeks. She really will be a frosty beast.

I always let them go a tad past 100% cloudy. It almost looks freckled with tiny amber dots on the top of the resin glands. Many will harvest a week earlier, but I think this is because of inpatients rather than science.

just a tip on your last grow in nov 2011 a good idea would have been to get 4 eye bolts that screw into stuff that have a circle on the end of them and make some kind of a pully system with one in each corner to lower and raise your lights

They have bicycle hooks for a dollar or two and ratchet pulleys meant for our field for under 5 bucks. No need to jerry-rig anything.

Will post more later this week.

Girls are still bulking up a bit. Veneno is really packing it on. It isn't to frosty yet but the weight is there.

My god! Slap those whores one time for Dude. I know it sounds weird, but I usually take a bud and bite rite into it like an apple right after I cut them. It is a unique experience. Those pictures make me hungry.

One thought: I noticed those girls have no nutrient burn this late in the game. Well done! Since you have mastered how not to burn them. Try slowly increasing the ppm of your nutrient feedings every week through your next flower cycle. I usually do it 100ppm higher each week until just the very tips of the leaves show nute burn signs. Then I level off at 100ppm under the dose that burned them. The goal of it is to max out thier nutrient intake. Careful though, not all strains eat equally. Some strains seem to take crazy ppm while others burn at the recommended levels at first. The key to the technique is being gradual and consistent with ppm levels.

If you don't already use molasses through flower, start now! I talk about it a lot because it does so much for so cheap. It is an increadible source of natural sugars vital to all plants flower growth. Also, it adds a sweet flavor to the buds and I swear on my healthiest plant, adds to the weight at least 10%. I would do a side-by-side comparison to confirm it; but, ever since I started using it, I refuse to flower one without it. I use 2 tablespoons of Grandma's molasses per gallon of water on both water and feed days. I use it all the way to cut day, even when the nutrients have ceased in the end.

Well done sir, take a bow.

-Dude

All the girls are topped and lollipoped and waiting to go into the flower room in the next 10 days or so. They are 16-18 inches tall right now. Very vigorous and healthy so far.

Thanks everyone for following along and your kind words. The shot with the bottle is veneno and that is the smallest buds of the 6 stalks of one plant. The thc bomb started to turn a little purple in the bud and the fan leaves turn really purple, almost black.

This is when time slows down for me. Once the jars are full and air tight, seems like forever before I can stick my hand back in the cookie jar.;-) Finish chopping and hanging the rest of the grow and took down some racks to start the cure.
