1000 watts = ~5 or 6 plants. I'm not sure what the pod system is. But 24 plants under 1K watts? No way. Too much crowding, you'd get very little off of each plant. And teh penalties go up for more plants. Do less plants and grow them larger, imo. I ran 12, then 9 and am at 6. I think 5 may be a good number given the amount space a plant needs and the amount of light you have.

Room building tips? Buy a book called the Closet Cultivator: That should get you going.

Upgrade to 2 1000 watts with sun system xxxl hoods and vent them with an inline fan...you won't regret it. They are expensive but you will want 2 1000 watters for 12 ladies because to optimize the ebb and gro system you must grow large plants. 2 600 watters will work but for your setup I would run more lights so your yield is maximized. I run the ebb and gro and I like to have 4 plants per 1000 watt. Depending on strain, you can yield between 150-225 grams per lady without CO2 enrichment.

how do i vent them? and where can i get this hood

you dont need that specific hood, just any aircooled hood, they are enclosed with glass, bulb inside and sealed so you can attatch a high velecoty fan via duct to suck or blow the hot air out without sucking air out of your room, this will seriously help with heat issues as 1000watters get crazy hot. i think your plan is good with 6 pots under 1000watt lamp, like i said before i choose to put 4 pots under each 600w. with my experience you would want to use no less than a 450cfm fan per 2000watts. thats the bare minimum/ i run 3 x 600;'s per 450cfm fan, and if i could do it again i would get my hoods to come with 8inch flanges and not 6inch, and i would get 8inch fans and ducting for better air flow thru the hoods. air cooled hoods will also allow you to use co2 down the road without sucking it all out
