first time cloning. have a few questions

just took a bunch of clones from my 2 1/2 month old vegging plants (fem. purple kush from seed) and i've put them in jiffy pellets in a dome.

gave them 6.5 ph water, and the clones are approx 4" each with average 3 nodes.

1. should i give them any nutrients? when should i start with nutrients. when they've rooted, and i transplant them? (i am using pro mix peat and perlite)

2. i've read they should have a period of darkness before being exposed to light. is this necessary, or can i place them in the grow room, yet away from the light (600 watt MH) on a less intense part of the room (maybe 6 feet away from the light) right away.

3. can i begin to flower the plants these clones came from now? or should i let the plants regenerate (since i took a good 20 percent off each for clones).

Only experienced help would be appreciated :)

Thanks

Hello Xx-
Here's a few tips on what I do....
1) No Nutes, wait until you transplant, I wait another 2-3 weeks after transplant because the goodies in the soil should keep them fed that long.
2) I've tried 24-0 light cycle, and 18-6, I have better results using the 18-6 cycle. They say the root do most of the growing during the dark periods, I think that thinking is correct after seeing my results.
3) Put them bitches in the flower room. No need to wait. I adjust my lights down in 2 hour intervals.18-6, then 16-8, next day 14-10 then 12-12.
Also, I pH my water to 5.5 to 5.9 and soak my Rockwool cubes in that water before cloning.
Hope this helps-

I give no darkness before hand....
I have cloned under my 400MH (currently trying under my 1000 MH and I expect success, I cut yesterday), about 3-4 feet away from the light, but I prefer T5's for cloning. Just dont cook them, keep around 80 - 82 degrees, or there about, and close the vents if using a humidity dome, then open up vents at day 5 or 6. Keep moist, but not to wet those first 5 days, then back off the moisture and let them search for water. This stimulates the roots to grow because they will start looking for water. BUT NEVER LET THEM DRY OUT ALL THE WAY!
I start seeing roots poking out the cubes about day 10-12, some strains earlier, some longer.
Get back if you have any other questions.
