First Time, 12/12 from seed, SOG, Aeroponics: 3+ strains

So I'm a bit of the ways into harvesting now, I'll post pics a bit later. I have a question/issue, though...

All of the plants had a pretty nice tangy, danky smell as they were growing, but now I've cut them them down and dried, then put into some jars, and it all just smells "planty". It's pretty disappointing. Did I do something wrong, or does it take time for the dank smell to come back?

Yea no problem, when my stuff gets that cut grass smell I just toss it into large paper bag for a few more days to dry it some. The smell will come back.
