HAHAH, you guys are too good. THEY WILL NOT BUD LIKE THIS. THERE WILL BE 1 PER POT IN NO MORE THAN 3 WEEKS!!! I guess you missed the WHOLE THREAD. These are bagseeds!! We had them around so we used them until our Silver Pearl and Jock Horror get here. I have been getting rid of some as i go along. Ive already gotten rid of 4 that werent doing so well (and even those were good plants). Also, the rest will be removed in the next 1-2weeks when preflowers show. This will be the last time i say this because it obviously doesnt get through to you guys but here goes...I AM GOING TO TAKE THE MALES OUT WHEN THE PREFLOWERS SHOW. ANY THAT SLIP THROUGH WILL BE REMOVED AT THE FIRST SIGN DURING 12/12. I AM NOT DIGGING THEM UP, I AM CUTTING THEM LEVEL WITH THE SOIL AND COVERING IT UP, STOPPING ANY NEW GROWTH. I HAVE ALREADY DONE THIS WITH 4 AND IT HAD NO NEGATIVE EFFECTS WHATSOEVER. THERE WILL BE ONLY 1 PER POT BEFORE THEY FLOWER!!!!!!! You're like a bunch of parrots. You just repeat what you hear, even though you've never tried it yourself. Just stick around and you will see.
Go back to page 2 and see what fdd2blk said since you all seem to value his opinions and advice. He said, and i quote...
"you people are mean. the guy said it was a "bag seed experiment". he's got the good beans on the way.
has anyone ever grown more than one plant per pot? what happened?
once again i grew 4 in a 5 gallon square pot. outside. they finished just fine."
"i have this book written by "soma". he builds square boxes. i think they are 8' X 8' and about 18" deep, maybe a little deeper. he fills them with soil then plants clones in them. something like 12 - 18" apart. i'd have to pull the book out to get the exact numbers but you get the idea.
your plants look great. very thick stalks. nice tight node spacing. a little more soil to help support them like you said. all looks very nice."
fdd2blk.
And by the way fdd2blk, i did add more foxfarm ocean forest to make it about 1/4in from rim.
Also, keefmaster, tahts not very funny. They obviously dont look bad. They may not be the best, but for my first time they are amazing thanks to the help of people here. And thank you FDD for sticking up for me. It feels good getting compliments coming from someone that obviously can grow.
Oh, and ill be watering today. To show you why they looked a little droopy in the previous pics (natmoon had no problem saying it was light stress, heat stress, and overwatering) ill try to take some pics of them before and a little bit after i water them so you can see that they droop every so slightly for a couple of hours. Ill then take a pic of them when i get back from work to show you the perk right up by the end of the day. I feel like im constantly proving myself, but if thats what it takes, thats what ill do to show some of you just because it isnt in a book or your friend hasnt told you something that doenst mean its bad or wont work. Other than that, thanks to everyone who has helped me. Aside from a select few that like to nitpick at the smallest problems and never see anything positive (every forum has them), this site has been amazing and so very helpful.
