So i recently ordered 3 fem seeds from a site that guarantees delivery. They are Strawberry Cough, Critical Sensi Star, and Blue Cheese. Has anyone ever had any great success with any of these strains? If yes pics would be awesome! My set up is as follows:

Location: Closet

Soil: Fox Farm Ocean Forest Potting Soil

Veg Light: 400w MH

Veg Light time:24hrs

Flower Light: 400w HPS

Flowering Light Time:12hrs

Water: Tap water that sits for at least 24hrs

Veg Nutrients: Humboldt Nutrients Micro (5-0-1)

Flower Nutrients: Humboldt Nutrients Bloom (0-6-5)

Germination: Damp paper towel under warmth

First container: Solo Cups

Final container: 8' clay pots (1 per plant)

Also I have a digital ph meter and the calibration kit.

Any advice would be nice, i did not even get these yet so ill take as much advice as i can get before I start, my first grow isn't finished yet and doesn't seems like its gunna turn out great (heat shock after getting legit lights but were originally under cheapo-walmart ones & miracle grow soil) it was just bag seed so no worries. Now I got everything i need and have spent a decent amount of cash so like i said if theres anything i should change let me know so i do this right, thanks much!

oh ps. once i start im more than likely gunna change this forum from a question about growing, into my journal so be expecting some pics starting when i get the seeds!

Don't use clear or white solo cups. You don't want roots getting light. Spray paint them, or go to Party City, they carry black solo cups... Good Luck man...

alright cool, yea it seemed like that ballast was not the best thing to be running all day, and thanks ill be sure to grab some dark cups for the beginning of the veg anybody else?

Why the heck are you using cups in the first place. Just get some proper pots from where ever your getting everything else. I also don't know that I would use a 400mh for a 400hps grow. Something like 200-250 mh would seem like enough for me. Heck, I do my entire veg under 165w of compact T5's, no real heat to deal with and since I can't smell anything from plants in veg I don't even bother with anything like a carbon filter. I also run my lights 18/6 for veg.
