First Scrog - Tips Welcome

Coming along pretty good. Just added a timer and pump for watering it when it starts to get crowded in the pot. Dont worry, that clear tubing is just a test, getting black asap. Been trying to think when I should flip to 12/12. This has always been a minor problem with me and I end up with a monster on my hands.

Looking good man. I'd let em fill out in the middle a bit before thinking about flipping, if you've got the space. Get them growing up into the net a bit first. I hear ya though, I dunno much about soil but the RDWC caught me by surprise this time with how quick they took off after flip. Looks like I get about 3-4 days between good use of space and too crowded.

Update: filling in really well. Still pondering the flip. Added the 1st screen, figuring I'd need the two. Next run will probably get a tighter grid.

We had an issue with the girls pushing up the net, so this Scrog became less of a Scrog and more of SoG, I guess. The net was pulled tight, but there’s always enough stretch through the middle. (Week 4 of flower).
Instead of just using net in our second tent, we put two cross bars to help stabilize it. We don’t have a moving net, and the center is staying nice and low.

Any updates would like to see how everything turned out ?

Hey man! sorry, updating after a point is always my issue here. Ha. Anywho, cut her down a couple weeks ago. Ended up with about 6.5 oz. Towards the end summer was in full swing and I had heat issues. Started to get minor foxtailing, and a couple areas of potential herming. So I pulled her immediately. Got to it before any damage was done. Ill see if i can wrangle any good photos and post em.

Learned a lot from this process. One thing is I definitely could have gone bigger. Thats where strain knowledge comes in, I had no idea at the flip what I would end up. This ended up being smaller. I should have cleared more vegetation from under the net as well. It got very taxing and I gave up on it. Just made sure I had proper airflow and ventilation. The seasons screwed with me a little, growing in a garage in the summer is a bear, next year Ill plan it so its dark for a couples months.

The buds are damn near rock hard, but that's definitely the light, first full run with it. Very impressed and I love it. And all the while i pretty much never went over 65% power. This plant was topped countless times with reckless abandon, I also knew my cola sizes would be on the smaller side. What I was left with was pretty much all my nuggets are about the size of a quarter give or take a couple longer ones.

I dont drop the nets until they're about to flip. i run four 3g pots in a 4x4. pull em all out, lollipop, spread her legs out wide, then replace in position and drop 2 net layers. spaced 10" apart.

when she stretches, she'll go thru both layers and wont be all floppy late in flower. best of luck!
