Yep keep us posted....I have the same light you do. SGS 160 from Area51. First run with it going on now and was using HID prior. I am about to transplant my plants into 5 gallon smartpots and giver them 7-10 days and then flip and see how they do in Flower. I asked around to some people using our same light what people thought....It was recommended to me and follows the MH / HPS principle I was talking about above. And not to turn on the reds for first couple of weeks going into flower to help with stretch.

Hi rwborck. Soounds sweet, man. I think youll be pleased. Feel free to post your pictures here as well, sort of the same game. I still havent switched to flower, despite all the advice Ive received. Thing is, it has just been too goddamn hard to find the stuff for the bubble cloner. Tomorrow I can buy the final ingredient to finish her, take my clones and start flower. Im really thrilled about the bubble cloner, I find it to be very cool. Anyway, I lowered the plant an additional 20cm and she is currently a few cms too far away from the recommended height, but she will probably be back in the range tomorrow. Here's a photo, so it doesnt get too boring.1939743_10203197393596841_1774640349_n.jpg

All right, yesterday I finally found a moment to finish the bubble cloner, take clones and place them in the cloner. Unfortunately the only pool thing I could find to hold the clones already had a hole all the way through, that is why I used some aluminium foil to help the clones stand up straight and prevent light from getting down into the box. I hope it works as promised on other fora Have a nice sunday2014-03-16 01.43.32.jpg

looks good, you may want to trim some of those leafs though, you dont need to trim them right off just cut them in half.I believe its so the clone puts its enegy into root production.Once they start to root, these leaves may well turn yellow and fall off, thats normal.Best of luck

Thanks man, I saw several pictures like that. Ive had some really bad cloning experience, so this time I tried to keep it as simple as possible. I dont mind them spending a day or two more in the cloner. As a matter of fact, Im not quite sure how to handle the situation from here on out. I think these twelve clones are all gonna make it, but I dont really have a vegging room. Only flower and this little improvised space. So I dont know if I should veg these clones a bit under the CFL and take cuttings from them, I just dont think they will have much to cut and consequently I would ruin the idea of SOG. Or I move my big plant out of the scrog to keep her as a mother, I just dont have space for her, so dont really know what to do. Bummer

Today I changed to timer to 12/12. Only a question of days before small hairy buds will start to peak out. This is what she looked like today:2014-03-18 12.13.44.jpg

Hi guys, she's now ten days into the switch and small white hairs are starting to appear, she is still stretching like crazy, but I like that. Tomorrow Im going to raise the lamp and fit her into the screen more evenly. From the bubbler, I have already transplanted the first into a 2l bottle and are seeing long nice roots on 8-9 of the others. Im currently awaiting some hydro nutes to arrive in the up-coming week. Here's a photo from today's lights-out to avoid my thread from dying out completely. I'll make the photo big once everything get's back to normal. Have a nice weekend!2014-03-27 18.40.57.jpg

Heres a photo of today. The plant is really starting to flower now and I have started the 60 days countdown. Also, I removed the screen and decided to tie her up, should it 2014-04-01 11.06.48.jpg2014-04-01 11.06.38.jpg2014-04-01 11.19.06.jpg
