First real grow

OK so this is my first real grow, I did an experimental grow with bag seed that turned out fairly well (the best plant yielded 4 1/2 oz).

My setup is a 2 room setup veg room and flowering room. My veg room has four 4' floros each with 1 cool and 1 warm bulb, and i also have 4 65w cfls and I also bought the stealth hydro bubbleponics kit with the dual spectrum 2 lights that I will use in this room as well. The walls are covered with black and white poly and i will have 1-2 oscilating fans in there as well.

my flowering room is approx 6'x6'x7 1/2' and the whole room is cover with the black and white poly. I have a fresh air intake coming from outside and an exhaust with a carbon filter being taking back outside. I currently only have 1 400w HPS in there and was wondering if i should get another, any opions on that will be appriciated.

I will be growing in soil to start as i am doing a test run with the bubbleponics setup to make sure i get it right before i use my feminized seeds in it lol. My soil mix is

3parts topsoil
1 part peat moss
1 part vermiculite
1 part sand
and 1/2 part manure(as i have a plentiful supply of it with having horses )

I am growing in 8in pots that have ample drain holes on the bottom.

I am growing 4 strains to start since i am growing for myself and a few friends. I have G-13 labs armageddon, G-13 labs Blue Venom, Arjans Strawberry Haze and White Widow. I am starting 2 of each plant and will make one of each a mother plant to take cutting from and flower the others.

I will be using B.C. Boost and Grow for veg, and B.C. Boost, Bloom and liquid karma for flowering. Any other nutes that you may think i should try feel free to let me know.

Sorry its a long post but I wanted to try and get as much info in so i could get feedback and advice
I germinated them all and they all cracked yesterday so they are planted and will soon be poking through the soil (hopefully lol)

Well i'm 7 days in to my grow and everything is going fairly well so far. Plants stretched a bit on me but not to bad. I have been taking a few pics here and there and as soon as i get a new cable i will post some on here.

I know its been a while since i have posted work has picked up to 60+ hrs a week and we just got home from vacation.

Anyway I am gonna post a few newer pics all the previous ones i had taken are gone since my wife dropped our camera in the ocean lol. So I picked up a cheap digital one til I have a chance to get a good one again.

My hydro grow is taking off they are looking good except for one that has been attacked my some pests I will post a pic of it and would appreciate some advice on how to be rid of them.

The soil grow is coming along they are def growing slower than the hydro but i expected that. I had to stake a cpl of them up because the fan was kinda making them lean to much.

I have a problem with the 3 plants i have flowering while we were on vacation one of them went hermie on me and I have pollen sacs that have burst. Should i take it out of the room and destroy it or just leave it to grow as it has quite a few good looking buds going on it. Any advice would be helpful.

Well i have a new area in the house that we have no use for so I am gonna put it to good use. I am loving the results from my hydroponics grow so I am going to build a nice new setup in the room that we dont have a use for now.

I have decided that I am gonna do the DIY areo setup that epixbud has in the DIY section. I am taking his plans and tweeking them to fit my needs. I went out yesterday to my local hydro store and got all the plumbing, net pots and pumps.

It ended up costing me about 200 bucks for everything i will need(i hope), and since i have been frequenting his store so much latley the owner threw in over 100 bucks worth of products( a ppm meter, a few different kinds of nutes that i have been using and a bunch of rockwool). He also told me to come back august 1st because he is having a closeout sale to make room for new stuff coming in and told me he has a 1000w hps that he will give me for like 150ish so im excited about that.

Anyway I will post some pics after i get my system setup and will get some new pics of my ladies hopefully later today or tomorrow.

Here are a few new pics, i haven't gotten my areo started up yet, getting ready to go finish it now. Been to tired after work this week to mess with it. Anyway the pic of the hydro that i am putting up, those plants were started 1 week before the dirt plants and u can definately see the difference just from lookin at the pics, and i know they look a little unruly atm, i just put them into flower a couple days ago and will be pullin any males and will trim them up just a little.

The plants in dirt i have been slowly loosening the string on the dowel rod so the dont fall over on themselves but at the same time can start to have to resist the fans blowing on them.
