First Real Grow - WHITE BERRY

Hey everyone.

I am late on this as I have just been so busy, but I wanted to share a little bit of my grow with you. This is my first REAL grow. My previous grows were basically just test runs with bag seed. This time 'round, I'm growing White Berry. It is White Widow x Blueberry. Smells fantastic!

My grow room:

Homemade Grow Box made out of:
Plywood
2x4's and 2x2's.

Inside the Grow Box:
1 - 400w HPS light
2 - 40w CFL lights (each equal to 150w) - 300w total.
1 - 120 CFM Bath Fan
1 - Desk fan, mounted to the wall
1 - 14x6(?) return air grill for passive intake
All of inside of grow box is painted with Flat White paint.

I originally started off with one White Berry and 1 Black Widow (original White Widow).
I was planning on growing more Mum's and doing a SOG but things have come up so I am just doing a small grow.

The White Berry is doing REALLY good but the Black Widow hasn't been doing very good, from the Get Go. I took 8 clones from the White Berry, 5 of which have survived and didn't bother cloning the Black Widow as it's just not a good Mum.

Anyways, I just wanted to share some pictures up until now. The plants are 4.5 weeks into flowering and should take around 45-50 days.

Any advice, tips, constructive criticism, etc would be greatly appreciated as this is my first grow. Enjoy!

These pics are of the White Berry View attachment 1233986View attachment 1233985View attachment 1233984View attachment 1233983View attachment 1233987at 2.5 weeks of flowering.

Things I forgot to mention:

I am using Soil for this grow and everything is Organic. I have been using Blood Meal, Bone Meal, Manure Tea, and good ol' Brita Water. I also made my own soil out of Potting Soil, Top Soil, Manure, and Perlite.

The plant in the orange pot is the Black Widow.

The clones of the White Berry went directly into flowering. They had NO veg. time! I was just interested in how they would turn out this way.

Don't know why the pics were posted between a sentence???... Sorry about that!

Here are pics of White Berry at 4.5 weeks (taken yesterday).

In the pics of the clones, the brown stuff on the leaves is dried Manure Tea that was left on the leaves when watering them. I know I know, they look like SH**.

I tell ya, these White Berry smell SPECTACULAR! I want to smoke them SO bad, I can barely take it anymore. They are so incredibly sticky and after a quick touch of the buds my fingers stick to each other and smell like White Berry for the rest of the day (or until I wash my hands, which is rare if they smell like that, lol JK).

Thanks Man! I'll post some more pictures as the days continue but I don't really have much else to share or show anyone at the moment.

Any questions or comments please do tell and/or ask.

Hey guys (if you're still here),

Here are some more pictures of the White Berry plants at 5 1/2 weeks. I have a couple of questions, if anyone knows the answers. Here goes:

1) I currently do not have a strong enough magnifying glass to look clearly at the trichomes to tell the exact color of them, and I don't really want to go purchase one.
By the pictures I have supplied, is there anyway to tell when I should harvest without magnifying the trichomes? Put simply, is there any other ways to tell exactly when to harvest the plant without a mag. glass? Ideally, I would like to harvest when the trichomes are cloudy.

2) The clones that I took, I placed directly into 12/12 at the SAME time as the large, mother plant. Again, there was NO veg. time! Should I expect to harvest these clones at the same time as the Mum?

Here's the pics of the Mum:
