I'm not really sure what it was...I got it from a grower friend of mine. He said it was organic. It did kinda smell like peanut butter, but I was thinkin it smelled more like peanut M&M's LOL.
Haha sounds even better. I'm subbing to your thread cuz I may start some dwc in the other unused part of my room. & becuz your plants are looking good. I'm interested to see if your auto is done flowering before my plants. I think I'm gonna put em in flower next week. I posted 9 new pics, stop by when you get a chance & keep up the good work here, can't wait to see some flowers.:joint:

That's cool Rom, the more the merrier! I think its better to run side by side with a beginner than to try to get advice from the experts. A couple of times I was treated like I was stupid when I asked a Q about bubbleponics so I think research and trial and error is the way to go for me.

That one auto has like 10 pistils so far, but I'm gonna polinate her cuz she only about 3 inches tall. The one I killed the mites off of is growin like a weed...no pun intended.

Looks like we will be kinda on the same schedule cuz I'm puttin my second mid into flower in a few days. I can't wait for flowers either!! I'm really thinkin both of my mids are girls because they have such thick growth. From what I have heard and seen, males tend to be more stretched and leggy...

That stuff is all old wives tales I think. I doubt people can tell before sex is being shown. But hey I don't know I could be way wrong, lol.
That's bs that people made u feel stupid for asking questions on here. I mean I've gotten the arrogant answers too but I usually just ignore them and deal with the people I've come to trust. But research and trial and error (as long as it's not too many or too bad of errors) is definitely the way to go. Best way to learn in my opinion. I had Grizz telling me what to do and my own stubborness made me make my errors but I learned from them and won't make those mistakes again.

I'm curious to know what all this info Grizz gave you entails.

Ya there's plenty of know it alls on here so it's almost better to keep your typing fingers to yourself for the first few weeks & just read/learn. Personally, I think there's always something to learn from everyone, so people shouldn't cop such a sh!tty attitude. Weed is meant to help people & be fun, not something to make yourself feel superior.

I think stretching is more of a lighting & heat factor than anything & not related to sex so much as phenotype. In my experience, males can tend to be a little more vigorous, sometimes they can end up bigger but not necessarily taller than the females, but there's no real way to know sex until you flower em unfortunately. & it's definitely best to pollinate as early as possible, you don't want to ruin your harvest, just get a few usable seeds.

Should be exciting to see how our buds develop, I'm hopin I get at least a few plants that finish in an 8 week time frame. Good luck, I'll be stopping by again soon!

He taught me about Relative Humidities, Air Flow, Negative pressure systems in the box, It was his idea to plant my babies directly in the box, root growth, Lights pretty much been there for me along the way. And I'm more than willing to recycle that info to anyone who needs, wants, and is willing to listen. lol

Well I went out and checked my flowering mid this morning. She has been in flower for five days. No sex yet, but I call it a her because I have faith in the power of positive thinking LOL. She has grown one inch since I changed her cycle.

I cut some pollen sacs off my little boy auto for my little girl auto yesterday. I'm not sure what they are supposed to look like right before they open so I cut some that I thought looked ready and left some other ones so that I can keep an eye on them. There are plenty of balls, so I'm sure I'll figure it out, but if anyone has some tips or experience they would like to share I would be happy to hear it!

The bubbler is up and running completely now; I cut the last WW clone for it last night. I will take pics when they start to look a little more lively. The two skunks that are in there with them are doing good, they are getting their second set of leaves, so I think I will start nutes in a couple days. That will save me some time I think, because my nutes have a pH buffer in them.

Q: Am I supposed to dilute the hydro nutes to start with the way I do the soil nutes, 1/2 strength or so to start?

Just a quick update in case anyone is interested. The skunk is growing like crazy; it's at about 5 inches. It's stretching pretty bad though, but I can't get the lights any closer without touching and burning the leaves. The auto that had mites is officially cured, it's got 2 new sets of leaves and no new webs. It is about 4 or so inches now, nothing impressive, but at least the damn thing is growing! The smallest auto isn't growing AT ALL, I'm starting to get irritated.

There is tiniest dusting of pollen in my glass jar, I just need a few more sacs to open to make sure I can get a good coverage on the hairs of my girl.

The two skunks in the bubbler are looking GOOD. I will take pics of everything again on Monday. The clones look like they are dead; I really hope they aren't. But, if they are, at least I still have my mother to cut more from!

I think I will be flowering the mid that I topped in the next week or so. It is getting really thick growth and I don't want it to get too dense.

Sounds good D2G. Of course we're always interested silly. ;-)
Hopefully the skunks leaves will catch up to it's stem soon. Might not be a bad idear to stick a popsicle stick in there with it for some support if it stays stretching.

I was thinking that myself...I have a fan blowing on it constantly, so the stem is pretty strong...it just needs to QUIT lol :)

well hey if the stem is strong then it's not technically stretching and should be fine. Just getting tall is all it sounds like. ;-) good deal

I was just starting to worry cuz there is like an inch between a couple of the sets of nodes, but the newest couple have good spacing so I'm not horribly worried.

I went out and checked my mid (flowering) and it has grown almost an inch in the last 24 hours...so start watching urs to see if u find any changes. No sex yet tho...

Cool. I hope mine jumps up like that. I'll be watering it tomorrow so I'll be able to let you know then. Until then, fingers crossed.

First I tried some stuff from a friend that smelled like peanut M&M's and was organic. That crap didn't work...so since I'm not into flowering yet I ended up using a chemical. It's just plain old insecticidal soap, pre mixed. They sell it at Wal-mart for 5 bucks a bottle. I figured a little bit of chemicals are better than a whole hell of alot of mites!

The one auto I sprayed was showing about 5 or so pistils when I sprayed her, and she handled it just fine. It turned a couple of the little hairs brown, but she grew ALOT of new ones...SeeMoreBuds (also known on here as Garden Knowm or GK) says that it is fine to use chemical up till your 4th week of flowering. Idk if thats true, but he knows more than we do, so I spose its probably sound advice...
