First reading with TDS meter

hey riu!

i just inserted my TDS meter into a gallon of water that has been sitting out for 48-72 hours.

the meter read 237. this means nothing to me.

wow...bottle water reads 4. THAT means something. tap water has more stuff in it.

but this will not help me figure out my ph, will it?

They do make ph/E.C./TDS combo meters.

Just wondering tho, isn't it common sense that you would use a TDS meter to check TDS and a pH meter to check pH?

Do you ever put an electricity tester in your mouth to check your temp if your sick?
