Hey everyone,
I planted a couple seeds a little while back and they have takin off, i was wondering if its too early to tell if male or female, and why one plant is more like a tree and the other like a bush...
and by like a tree i mean its got the main stem and has shorter branched comming off it where as the other plant has the main stem with longer branches streching more..

this is my first time doing it, and all i have right now it website knowledge haha, this site has helped me alot


i have s couple pictures if anyone wants to look at, i tried taking them the best i can.. haha

They look good! All plants even the same strain grow different.If that is tin foil take it down and add some more light if you want a couple cfls never hurt nobody

tin foil can burn your plants easily by creating hotspots... they look pretty much ready for flowering to me ... u could wait a little longer for them to show some preflowers and determine sex.

When I put them into the flowering stage, do i just swith the light to 12/12 or do i gradually switch them over somehow?

Switch them directly to 12/12 when you are ready to flower them. As for the tin foil goes, the hot spots it creates will actually burn your plant. I would definitely take it down and replace it with something else if you must. I.E. Space Blanket, Mylar, Panda Film or just a white paint on your surrounding walls. :leaf:

ohh k gotcha, how would i tell if there are already hot spots inthere right now?
im not using grow lights, just floresecnts, will this still create bad enought hot spots to mess things up?

No real accurate way of checking soil PH, best bet is to get a good electric pH meter and check the run off you get from your pots.

I cant really tell from the pics but you can start flowering now if you want to the best of my judgement.

where would i find a ph meter thing lol?
and also im using a 20-20-20 all purpose feeed, would i have to change feeds for the flowing stage?
or anything special i shud do/not do...?

They have special flowering nutes.
And you can flower whenever your ready. About the pH meter, you could order one online.

Hmm is there anyone flowering nutes in perticular u have found work the best?

and when do i switch the nutes over? right before flowering or as i turn the lights too 12/12

and do i just start switch from my nutes to the new ones all of a sudden?
