First plant, I thought she was doing really well until all of a sudden she wasn't.

Growing hydro DWC, EC 1.6, 741 ppm, water temp is 73 degrees, PH 5.8. The roots are nice and white.

I thought it was light burn at first but I adjusted the light and she still got worse. Our light is a MarsHydro TS-1000. Now set at about 60% intensity, 24 inches above the plant. Please let me know if I should adjust that further

We are using CXhorticulture nutrients Hydro A, Hydro B suggested by a hydro shop. The feeding schedule says 2-3ml/L and we went with 2ml/L. We are also using the same brand's Regen-a-Root.

I am thinking that it is a nutrient deficiency because of where of the leaf the problem started. Does that seem right?

Here are pics of her getting progressively worse.

For how long is the pH stable? Do you take pH measures daily? Do you calibrate your pH pen weekly?

In DWC with a complete plant food the most common problems is root rot but other than that it's keeping pH stable, especially with smaller volumes.

very important to take PH reading the same time every day, as ph drifts during the day, so just make sure its kept to the same time every day or it can mess your readings up.
also, wastei mentioned keeping on top of the calibration of your ph pen is extreamly important, and dont skimp out on a ph pen's price, get a good one, it may cost you, but it pays for its self with accurate readings, and as wastei and howard says, ph is probably the culprit here

how offten do you change your nute solution out? when i tried hydro, i would change the nute solution every week, but thats just me.
or, what are you topping off with as the nute solution is used up?

3 things that every indoor grower should have.

-ph meter (5.5-6.5)
-truncheon for nutrient ppm (800 ppm for veg 15000-2200 for flower)
-par meter (400-600 flower 700-1100 for flower)

Im no pro just through research. Keeping in these ranges cures almost all issues.

That seems like a really high ppm for flower.

EC is on a 700 or 500 scale to convert to PPM
so if your EC is 1.6... it is either around 1500 or 2100
but you're also saying 741 PPM.. So which is it?

Excuse my ignorance, I don’t do hydro but isn’t 73 degree water temp high? I thought I remember seeing someone here saying you want mid 60s? This was months ago..
it depends if you are using a root rot preventative. the plant grows better in warmer water but so does root rot.

Environment in check humidity and temps
seedlings par 100-200
early veg par 200-300
late veg par 200-500
flower par 600-1000 above 1100 Co2
turn your light back don’t need 60% , especially if environment is not correct , that can show deficiency…. If running 18/6 light , thats a lot in a day ..
and of course your nutrients strength … should be around 400 ppm.
