hi folks! i live in northern ireland and am just new to growing! had a few mishaps so far! well one major one when trying to germinate and only got 1 plant to maturity! its skunk number 1 (took advice from a seed bank in amsterdam for which type to grow when on holiday) my baby is now about 7/8 feet tall and in the early stages of budding (i think) and growing in my da's greenhouse next to his tomato plants lol! he's cool with it and we have been growing her together!

it was planted in late may and i have counted about 17 or 18 good strong branches with growth (see pics) at the top of the branches and a handful of the branches seem to have growth all along the branch!

is this big for a plant or is it just normal? i have no experience in growing before now but have enjoyed trying so far and think i'll make it a new hobby! lol!

thanks in advance for any tips or comments ;-)

7-8 feet would be giant for inside, outdoors it is not too uncommon. I have heard of some strains shooting up near to 20ft I believe. Either way, nice work on her so far, would like to see more pics after a few weeks of flowering!!!

Since it is in a greenhouse you hopefully have some method of keeping it warm at night. The plant is in the early stages of flower development and is at a minimum 6-7 weeks away (quite likely more) from maturity. Skunk strains are typically sativa-dominant and tend to take longer to mature than the indicas. The most common missing ingredient to new growers is patience. If you have it already you will be rewarded.

The plant looks good! Its deff a staiva dom plant. You can tell but how tall it is as well as the thinner leaves. Carl is right on with the time line. Sativa take around 11-12 weeks to mature as indicas are more around 8-9 weeks. However the best way to tell in not by time but by gett a 30x scope. If you dont have one then you can go by the white hairs. You want them almost all red/orange. Patience is key! Dont rush your plant as it will cost you in the smoke. Lookin good so far!

Thanks folks! I'll follow your advice and take my time with it! I also have a lot of foil backed kingspan insulation to insulate the greenhouse with to keep her warm and the roof is a kind of double sheeted plastic so she should be nice and cosy! I'll keep you informed of how she's going! Cheers! ;)
