I'm in the NW never done outdoor.

Looking to throw a few plants outside although it is late..They are already about 3.5ft tall

My backyard gets direct Sun from 8am until sunset however the area I'm going to put them in is shaded by a semi transparent hard plastic cover (see attached).
Should I steer clear from the area because of the shading?

I could throw them in 5gal buckets amidst my backyard, they'd just be much more visible to the neighbors which is unnerving but manageable I suppose. Also this is going to be coco to soil transplant..

i would take that transparent plastic off and cover the area with greenhouse plastic, oe just try keeping them under there and see if they keep growing.

It was built as a permanent structure. Can't really take it apart. Here's a picture of how shaded it gets.I'm worried the plants wouldn't get any nice buds due to lack of Sun

you must remeber that even outdoor plants in the shade are getting MUCH more light than most indoor plants. I would put them under there and see if they stretch or grow slow. Then you will know if its any good. Also, dont worry about not getting nice buds, they wont be rock hard but they will still look great.

You wrote, that they'd be "much more visible". If your neighbors will likely see them anyway, I'd say fuck it and put them out in full light. Maybe behind a tree, or two, or mixed in with other plants. You'll get better buds :leaf: If you're neighbors probably won't see the plants under plastic and stealth is important. Then go for that option. As the previous poster suggests, you'll get some good bud anyway :weed:

Good Luck :peace:

They wouldn't be noticed in the kennel unless they peer over the fence. In my yard you will be able to see regardless an I had planned on putting them in the ground in order to give a little height reduction.

I went ahead and put two in the kennel for observation over the next day or two..I'm thinking I may have to just say Fuck it and in the backyard they go. Kennel I liked bc its locked and holds my pit. But I guess I can let the two roam the yard. Luckily all the neighbors have dogs so they all bark non stop if one hears anything.
