First organic tent grow.....

heres a new little dilema i was hoping you guys could help with...... they are due to come down in 2 - 2 1/2 weeks but i was wondering if anyone had experience flushing with a boost??? im using bio boost and canna say you can use a small amount during flush to add extra taste and smell?? sounds a little bit dodgy to me. i was gona give them full nutes til last week then h20 only. any views or opinions plse??

i have been measuring my flowering time since i switched to 12/12, is this right?? i have been told to now subtract 2 weeks from my schedule??? apparantly your meant to count the weeks from when the first flowers show at about 2 weeks. has anybody heard of this?? am i really at 4wks or am i right at 6 wks?? this would maybe explain why the buds arent the biggest yet

I couldn't go by counting weeks at all. Harvest when shes done and fuck the rest But no, you don't add two weeks. An 8 week strain is 8 weeks from the day you switch to 12/12.

I'd just flush with water or water and molasses. the nutes in the very last week just aren't necessary imo.

i agree with gas man...he knows his shit. i remember asking the same questions for my first harvest...gas said the same shit. youll see what it means. theyre done when theyre done. it varies from plant to plant, let alone strain or environment...

Yeah... it would be nice if there was a single simple test to determine when they are done but it really depends on so many variables. Different strains mature differently, heat and humidity influence ripeness, UV, nutrients... Some strains are ready at 80% cloudy 20% amber, others at 80% cloudy 20% clear, some at 50/50 amber cloudy... IMO trich ripeness and THC content are just part of the picture, you also need to consider maximum scent/flavor which vary per strain in regard to trich ripeness, there's total yield to consider, bag appeal... And of course there's what you personally prefer - I for instance like most all my bud harvested earlier than most, just a personal preference as I like the speedier high and more floral fragrant expressed in early flower versus the heavier stank scents of late flower...

It appears most people who read that thread were planning on copying his methods but nobody actually gave a second account that his idea about ripeness was correct or false. It is obvious that the strain he has photographed has been left longer but as far as waiting for the hairs to curl back into the bud,I'm slightly apprehensive.hopefully mine will look nice and ripe at week 8 as planned.here's the latest pics guys

go check my thread steven...i just posted pics of a smaller top i clipped (cause i was out lol) to test my plants readiness...its SUPER early by a week or two even but...shit still LOOKS good. smells good. will smoke good. you get the idea

Thanks m8 I am over the moon with the quality,hope my next lot are same but bigger.can't w8 to taste it.smell is like no other skunk,its gorgeousely origional.very floral and sweet with maybe a rose water / Turkish delight taste

haha all de time gas lol !!!! its very similar to turkish delight. kind of "rose water" meets "forest fruits" lol. them buds certainly do bulk up in last few weeks its like xmas, just cant wait

Just chopped all apart from 1 because of drying space,will take that baby down tommorow. Got myself some lime green crystalised sweet strawberry smelling buds,just a pitty I no longer see a pic upload button to show u all the drying buds
