First Orange Pistils

I've just started spotting the first red pistils dotted around on this lowryder#2 auto after 5 weeks under a 250w hps does anyone have any ideas of when it will be ready to harvest, im obviously eager as its my first but im not impatient and I don't want to harvest early, some people say go by colour of trichromes while overs say percentage of red/orange pistils any advice would be greatly appreciated

Get a scope and look @ your trichomes.

If you want to harvest by stigmas, you want a lot more orange brownish stigmas than white. But imo check trichs / calyx, its the best way to tell when your buds are ripe.

Anyways, you have a few weeks more to go. Your buds are far too immature to harvest. They are going to start swelling up soon and start packing weight. Remember patience is key. You can harvest a week early and affect your yield. Wait until the buds are ripe. You'll regret it if you dont

I'd say 5 weeks +

Bro, I'm in the fourth week of flower (not close to being done), and I have red pistols like your 3 rd pic. You have at least 4-5 more weeks.....so, chill out and sit back and enjoy the ride. Peace!
