First Light Dep (NorCal)

Got a 7ft tall, 7ft wide, 20ft long 'grow tunnel'. Seeds started germinating today. Planning on throwing out 30 or 40 of them beginning of March. I'll start vegging under t5s in meantime. Still need to get something to cover it with. Will one 40ft x 30ft tarp on amazon be enough? The green house was $290 at a local nursery. They want almost $500 for they're blackout setup. Any tips would help. Ide like to harvest by may 10th. More pics to come.

Assuming you're going to grow 'indoor under lights' in your new 'grow tunnel', I'm curious how many layers of what kind of fabric is going to be needed to keep your 'grow tunnel' from glowing like a cigar shaped UFO that has landed in your back yard. Make sure everything you do is fire resistant and that you're not using cheap extension cords to run power to the lights.

If I misunderstood the clues (blackout setup, growing with inadequate northern Calif sunlight March - early May) and you plan on using sunlight, my apologies.

I plan on vegging indoors from now till the first week of March, then I'll put them outdoors to start flowering. Once they trigger to flower outside I'll start covering everyday to keep them on schedule. Only power outside will be a couple fans.

I found some tarps on amazon. I was thinking 40ft x 30ft would cover the 7ft x 20ft greenhouse nicely. Will one tarp keep the light out or do I need two? Or is there a good brand of tarps for blacking out grows
there is as bunch of good light dep materials. The breatheable stuff the sell over in your neck of the woods is really pricey.
I would just buy some cheap 10 or 15 mil black plastic. Many tool outlet places carry it cheap. or you can order on home depot website.

Thanks for the info. I'm in the vicinity of the Emerald Triangle area and I have always assumed that the sun would be at too low of an angle during March and April to encourage good bud development. I'm very interested in how this works for you and best of luck to you. Hopefully our El Nino winter won't impede your Spring grow.

What strains are you going to grow?
