so fun,, only one of my strains has strong parnoid level,, been staying away from that one,, its the omega dog, some chem dog cross, I get all kinda of wierded out hahaha,,
I'm borderline OCD with an engineering mind. All my runs are one gage heavier than code. My house gets 150A service from the city. The house itself is ready for 200A.

A master electrician either installed or inspected every last fucking connection in the house, top to bottom, within the last year, right down to the bedroom outlets.

I fully understand and accept the necessary risks, while minimizing as many as possible. UNNECESSARY ones get hunted down and ruthlessly eliminated. Ask my buddies how I am about safety. I got no time to be stressin' about that!

Your setup is legit. Hell I thought building a 100amp sub panel was a feat. I would hate to wire your house..

It wasn't that bad; I did it right the first time so when I upgraded I wouldn't have to rip shit out. I highly recommend doing the same.

Yeah my brother is also crazy about over doing shit.. But we are also strong believers in KISS.. Keep it stupid simple
Would you believe I am, too? Almost all my nutrient additions or changes are either 50 or 100 gallons, do the math in your head simple.

Much of what you saw at my place was simplifying and eliminating excess systems and combining others that do similar jobs.

Our industry's technology is currently being run by those with a vested interest in selling you more shit, not in helping you succeed. I'm changing that; first at the commercial level, and then for the everyday Joe with a tent in his closet.

Well you have a impressive operation. While that may be simple for you, lol it's not so much for me.. When I say simple I'm talking about throwing up some lights, fans and filling some pots with coco.. I guess what I'm trying to say as simple is eliminating any possibility of failure.
You've had the luxury of being in your house and being able to do as you please by upgrading as you see fit.

I know if I water a plant in coco and give it light it will grow. That's what I mean by simple.

Now that is reasonable you did isolate your grow op from the house panel and although you did exceed the 100amp service by 10% (60a & 50a) that's a whole lot safer than 100%. Coupled with the fact that you constantly check for damage to wires, breakers lesson the chance of unexpected problems if the load remains 15-20% below the service amperage.

yeah,it got hot and hairy in the summer on such a small home run,so we had enough panel space to change 6 lights to 240v ballast which draw 5.4 amps instead of 10 amps.Problem we ran into was the 80 dollar a day cost of volts. We had 5000 invested in the rooms for just materials.

Yeah...208v is actually cheaper to run than 115v you pay in amperage draw which converts to wattage.

You can have 2 appliances that are exactly the same but runs on 2 (115/208 different voltages and 208v always will be cheaper to run.

That is watts law

For your situation, it's a great solution. Just watch your runoff ppm.

You've never heard me say my system is ideal for everyone, because it isn't.

On the other hand, perception counts for a lot; there's plenty of people out there who would straight up freak out over the complexities of hand watering coco!

What is your goal with your garden?

Variety of dankest plants possible?
-Grow organic soil, its the only way i've found to give "every" different pheno what they need

Fat yield?
-Mono crop the dankest>best yielding strain, as im sure you know you can put a plant back into veg and take clones off it to keep a dank seed

An extreme balance of the two?

Maybe run like 90% hydro on a mono crop all clones from the same mother, and run a few soil plants for personal use. With hydro you can easily dial in on what a strain wants, but if you have several strains on the same res some might "miss out" on a prime location. If you throw them in soil you can have a few different plants for personal use and still make a buck off your dank mono crop.

If my suggestions have nothing to do with your goals as a grower, then feel free to completely disregard them! Especially cuz i'm pretty drunk :D

how did that go with the pistol permit? One of the questions is do you currently use illegal drugs, and if you have a mmj card, the answer is obviously yes, so no pistol permit.
Lol no illegal drugs, and no permit but I still heard other wise. I have a concealed hand gun license from Texas with a my ID still being from Texas. So I am still legally a resident of Texas, my brother and his wife are the card holders at the moment. I'm getting all my legal stuff taken care of, in two weeks. I'll ask the Dr and find out more. But I still think you can. And I know for sure you can own muzzle loaders and possibly shot guns. I take care of everything according to what I hear.
I find it stupid that you cant hunt and be a gun owner in Colorado.
