First (legal) grow, 3 weeks into flower

Hello from Colorado. I thought I'd try my hand at growing some plants now that it's legal here. I've got 4 Atomic Haze and 1 Shishkaberry going in an ebb and flow hydroponic system, currently 3 weeks in today. I've got 2 DS XML 350 LED lights in a 5x5 tent, computer controlled heating/cooling/co2/humidity. I'd like to get another tray going soon with some clones of these I have going.

There have been a couple hiccups, as you may be able to see. These LEDs are deceptively bright and I had them too close for a while. This past week the EC of my reservoir got up to 2.7 and there was some burning going on, but I think that is under control now.

Since it's legal, can you go in a shop and buy clones and seeds without a medical card? Or do you still need one to do so? I don't live there, but I would be willing to travel if I could buy some things from there then I don't have to worry about customs etc.. But another question.. Are they going to do border checks to ensure no one is taking legal weed out of the state? Like I said, I don't live there so idk how it works, but I'm real interested in buying stuff there and bringing it back. I googled and didn't find hardly shit...

I haven't heard of people selling seeds around here yet, but you can get clones at a lot of places. Things are a little strange right now with the retail/medical split, though (since Jan 1). Some medical places aren't letting you inside without a card (they used to let you in, just not buy weed), and a lot of the retail places don't have clones yet. There is no legal requirement as far as buying clones though, so if you can get in a medical place you should be able to buy one.

I probably would have bought clones myself, but I didn't understand things when I started the seeds and when I found out I was 2 months in anyway.

Btw, are you only using the white light spectrum for your flower or did you just turn the red/blue ones off for the photo op?

It's a long process fire still a lot of shit happening and changes to be made use to live in the springs untill they legalized it company moved cause of it and so on. But I hope Colorado sets a good example and doesnt f it up cause I believe the rest of this country (politics) and all are watching and seeing if this country can handle legalized mj. So Colorado don't f it up for the rest of us. Good job stone keep it up. And be careful brother keep us updated.

I just turned the red/blue off for photo, and also had to turn the whites down almost completely to get them to come out ok.

Yours are looking mighty fine! I was hoping to find more reports of these lights before buying them, but in the end I'm glad I didn't mess around with ballast based lights before taking the plunge. You're right, they've worked better than expected so far.

Unfortunately, I think I've spotted a couple male flowers on 2 of the AHs, the ones with the bigger buds =[

Will keep an eye on them.

I was under the impression green colored LED power indicators were ok at night... is this a bad idea?

Weekly update time. Still have some weird looking growth on one plant, not especially looking like male flowers any more. On the other plant the similar growth just turned into leaves.

Those last pics were really from the end of week three. Today is the beginning of week 5.

Hello virus, you should probably start your own thread to make it easier for people to find you. But, that looks to me like either light burn or maybe some drops of nutrient solution fell on your leaves.
