First LED grow

I want to do 1-3 plants in my closet with an LED light, but I'm a little uneducated about it. How much CFL or whatever of LED lighting do I need for each plant? Also, what model light would you recommend?
 
How big is your closet space and what size containers will you be using? Do you have any target goals for dry weight?
 
It's about 4 feet x 4 feet. I'm not sure what size containers yet. And about a zip per plant, maybe a little less.
 
You're looking for wattage, not CFL. CFL = compact fluorescent light which is just another light to grow with.

To answer your question simply... the bigger, the better. Get the biggest light you can depending on the size of your closet.
