Now needless to say after week 2 of flower as usual thingsgot outta hand ... I wasn’t there to watch them as I was helping someone else grow these,.. they endid up cuttting most the foliage off since the leaves burned do to heat and high temps ... but they still have s few weeks to go and the smells are coming in nicely,. Not bad for a fist led grow .

Let the trichomes tell you if it's time. What do they look like when you check 'em with a loupe or magnifying glass?

Someone has gone monster cropping, I see.
Once the plant start with the normal leaf patterns, don't be afraid to prune most of that stuff out. Single leaves, bud bits, funky branches … Monster cropped clones can get REALLY overcrowded. Recommend doing some pruning early.

They can be a biatch!!!
One occasion I had to clone flowering plants that were almost three weeks into 12/12. My veg clones didn't root because I, like you, have a clone consuming canine. Since then I have gone the dome route so he can't nache on the little girls. But he still checks them out hoping to get another bite.
The monster cropped clones took 32 days to root as opposed to the normal 12 days with clones taken from vegging plants. 32 days messes up my veg-flower rotation. I will only monster crop if absolutely necessary
