First Larger Scale Grow, 14 Plants

Hey there guys!

This is my first semi large scale grow that I've done. I've been growing for a while and you can see some of my old posts up here if you look into my profile. My last grow was considerably smaller, up until this point I've been doing 4-8 plants but this time I decided to maximize with my small space. I have grown all from feminized seeds, I started with 16 plants, 4 chocolope, 5 la lybella, and all the rest skunk. Two skunks went male on me and I cut them early on. I have one hermaphrodite skunk but I am vigilante and check him/her every day for balls. I'd rather keep the hermaphrodite and possibly claim some feminized seeds off her if she even lets off pollen then let her die, she is one of the bigger plants and is growing her females parts quite well for the few male counterparts.

Here are some pictures of the grow and I'll definitely be posting more as I get more bud pics, hope you all enjoy, let me know what you think! Will post more information later.

My trusty grow cat. He defends the tent for me!

I noticed you cut off a bunch of your bottom foliage in what looks like a technique that makes them grow tall instead of wide. Can you explain this technique? I have a setup where I have excess vertical space and limited horizontal space. The problem is that my plants seem to love growing wide and bushy as opposed to tall and narrow. I was hoping you could explain what you do to get them so tall and skinny, how it effects the cycle, and of coarse how it effects your final yield. They look great! Super jealous! Thanks:joint:

Hey there again guys! Sorry for the slow reply, been a bit busy lately. First for the replies to my previous post. My plants all are very tall because I over vegged them a bit while I was away for x-mas and also because I trim a lot of the bottom stems because I was always taught to trim excess branches that aren't getting much light so your top stem can use the excess energy and get bigger. If that in turn makes your plants huge then it seems I've had success, some of my plants were so huge I had to try training them in new directions because I cannot raise my lights any further at this point. This is in my kitchen but I have a pretty casual landlord who doesn't really come in and knows me well enough not to care if she knew, also if there ever was a concern I can tear this down in a couple hours. Actually looking to move soon and put it in a little less "obvious" a space. Also the irony of the whole thing is most people don't notice it. I have had friends come to my place 3-4 times, walk past it every time and never ask a question until a night that they end up staring at it for too long for some reason and then go "hey what the fuck is that thing?" lol.

Now for the grow update, the plants are coming along amazingly. I'm thinking 3-5 weeks left on some of them depending. They're really bulking up huge now and you can really see the crystals starting to produce on some of them. Hopefully the pictures say more than words, take a look!

Here are the Skunk pics!
