How big is your flower room, maximto?
Yes depending on the climate where you live.. I live in the desert summer temps in July and August 110 and up.. I bought a 9,000 BTU AC to keep my garden cool.. Res chillers are good too just cost a few bucks..you would need a res chiller or A/C if you gona grow DWC in summers. IMO go with flood/drain, less temperature sensitive
WOW... What a Douche... It seems to be the common practice on this forum to judge someone by HOW MANY POSTS they have....You currently have 2 posts and I don't think I can believe somebody who just signed up. Sorry but earn some respect and i'll be down to help so I know your legit. When the pictures go up I'll be glad to help

I think the same of FirsTime. coming from a shmohawk who only had 35 posts at the time. I bet he was 13 when overgrow got shut down

Second of all:
Burn!!!!!!!!!!! LMAO
You have a great sounding grow but the reason I think I am back to DWC/aeroponics is because the speed of growth on highly aerated roots seems to be much faster. The ebb and flow plants can grow big but it takes much longer! I have obviously left the pound a week realm but I think I can yield starting nearly a pound every two weeks if not a bit more, after 13 weeks of hard work. (one week of room prep, four weeks of initial veg and then 8 weeks till first harvest) I am going to start clones in aeroponics for clone and veg and then move to super aerated dwc to flower. there will be 40 flowering sites (10 per two weeks) sufficient clones and vegging plants to supply the flowering cycle. i presume that I can yield 2-3 oz per plant on 3-4 foot fimmed plants so each yield on a bad yield should easily produce at least a lb of dried hierba, perpetually harvested every two weeks. I will have one 10x10 room for flowering with four lights with ten small plants under each, 2 600's and 2 1000's all air cooled. the veg room will have a cloning machine and mothers and 20 plants vegging at all times. so there will be exactly 99 plants at all times:i like ebb and flow systems im starting up a 4 week perpetual grow and for what i have got it has already cost me a pretty penny 2 2x4 ebb trays 2 400w hps's exhaust fan, ducting etc but in the end i thought it was the best way to maximize on space and time in the end im going to upgrade my 400w ballasts to 600 digi and run a light rail 4 system to maximize even more for i will have to more ebb trays a total of 4 end to end that will give me a 4 foot walkway. i wouldn't slow down a one week perpetual is going to be a full time job i know mine is right now but if your anything like me you prably love nothing more than chillin with your ladies this is only my second grow and im going all out well i harvested once already so technically third grow hahaha and more to come.
Exactly. You can do it! perpetual! Those green babies you have are looking very healthy Dr.! I will check out your journal after posting this. and subscribe as well. People criticize for planning but if you have some experience and a really good plan, things are much less likely to go wrong. You must prepare well!hahaha i like im already subbed want to see more lol i veg in dwc for exactly the reasons you where saying (speed of growth, highly aerated roots etc) and it works. right under a hundred is perfect seeings how if shit hits the fan (at least in my state) feds wont be knockin at the door. and thats exactly what i wanna do 40 total flowering but 20 a harvest every four weeks its deffinetly possible every two weeks i might start the same a two week harvest that is.
thats what im saying planning can supersede experience and knowledge is power like i said i have only grown a few times all successes but have been learning for over 5 years. some things you have to go through to figure out but for the most part someone has probly already done it. this site for the most part has some really cool people who like to impart there knowledge to you but there are those douche bags lol.Exactly. hahaha black thumb i like that one i know quite a few people with that problem like throw a seed in soil and see what happens 90% of the time nothing happens lol and i agree experience has its benefits but that can be measured in so many ways like if i grow 16 plants that yields me 2 lbs and another Joe blow grows 4 plants yielding the same who has more experience if you want to go by plant numbers then i win lol see what i mean.experience has it's value and is necessary as there will always be trial and error, and I have noticed that some people are just not nurturing by nature and others even have a black thumb, or the touch of death as i call it! I on the other hand am quite "green". It is all a process. But remember this. You can't play baseball without some sort of bat and ball...
