nice sounds like u gotta nice spot ... i have few scouted out 2 look real promising i am worried about deer also..i have heard soap keeps deer away is this true? and i heard that soap can possibly attract rats is this true? and i am looking for a nice yeilder and good stone and have ome bag appeal...can u recommend a strain that finishes early like 5-6 weeks flower and early september be finished?:blsmoke:

I used to live in Maine and my father used to grow when I was young. Keeping the deer away is rough up north because the population is so high. The best thing is 20lb test fishing line. Set it 1ft, 3ft, and 4ft off the ground. That will def protect your crop and I hope I helped. Happy growing!

O yeah soap has a fat in it that RATS love. DONT use soap youl will end up with little rodents everywhere and they love bud too. Happy Growing!

nice thread man, im in southern new england and doing the same thing but i have a mix of clones and seedlings. trying to get as much as i can before the month is out..so are you all stocked up for soil? thats my problem, im startin to make a nice mix. but alot of soil is needed. just picked up this rooted clone last night. most of these are c-99....good to see another new england grower..peace

A little tip that will save your arms when you must carry water long distances.

Take a rope & hang it over your shoulders to where each end of the rope is at your fingertips,then put a hook on each end of the rope,now when your packing water in you take the rope,connect a hook to each container & stand up with the rope across your shoulders,the water jugs will now be suspended across the shoulders.

If you make the sling properly your hands will be at the right height to take the weight off your shoulders when needed but your shoulders do 90% of the work,i used to carry water like this years ago & it makes a long haul much easier.

Nice to see a few New England people around here. Yeah I am all stocked up on soil been preparing for this grow for some time now.

I will have to give the fishing line a shot see how that works against the monster bucks up in this neck of the woods. ;)

And to those talking about making lots of money, yeah I suppose I could make a good bit of money off this grow but I am looking more for experience of the grow, and looking to make some good friends really happy for a long time.

Im glad somebody can use that tip,as for pics of the panhead i have hundreds but im very leary of posting them,that bike has been in "Readers Rides on Easy Rider along with info about me,i will post some pics this summer of my Fatboy & Road King though,the Pan just sticks out like a sore thumb nowdays.

understandable man.. im only 24 and thats the one bike i want dude, i dont even get to work on them becuase like you know peeps that own pans,flathead,knuckles, even most shovels work on there own shit . ive actually never worked on a pan a few flatside shovels in the mid 60's but man thats my dream bike.. is it the rigid with nydra front or what?

i start off finding a spot by looking around for water, and when i have established a point to get water from then I find an area around there to plant. saves a hellava lot of trouble on packing in the supplies

yea having water close is a big bonus. i usualy use my kayak and get down a river or pond where there are no people and find great spots
