First journal and first real grow!

Yeah thats all im after, somewhere where i wont be bothered haha.
So if you dont mind me asking how long have you been in the game for?
And id love to hear what strains youd recommend for a novice like myself lol

I have been growing for over 25 years. As for good strain go I have a very old northern light that over 20 years old. But for the best strain I have grown would have to be the 91 krypt it is so fast never seen anything like it. and had a big bud that was really good

But yes 25 years is rather impressive! You seem like a very good person to have around to get me on track haha.

In my opinion little grows are what I like to watch most. What makes me happy is watching the love put into grows like this.

Just a bit of an update

Ive decided to use both the t5 and a 400w hps and it seems to be going good now,
Its day 5 of veg now and yesterday i switched to 18/6 rather than 24/0.
When should i top?
Should i wait for another set of leaves?

I just topped my plant last week at the 4th node. She recovered and grew 2 strong colas in less than a week. Check it out in my journal...

I decided to top them this morning, i was going to leave the smaller one a few more days and try to clone it but i decided to top them both so its even growth hopefully!
I kept the bigger topping and will try to clone it.
Now fingers crossed they recover nicely and i see some nice new growth in the next day or so!

If its shorter than 5 inches its gonna be tough to clone!

To be honest i really dont mind if this clone doesnt work, it was more just a chance to give it a go as ive never cloned before.
In future ill definitely make clones that are bigger though lol

Yeah i wont take clones until they have at least 3 nodes and the branch is at least 6 inches! Good luck though i really hope it works! It is definately possibl just not easy!

Haha thanks it will be a little experiment to pass time!
Ive also got a few more seeds germinating and then ill veg for a few weeks and then put those ones outside.
So ill keep this thread up to date with both grows as they happen!

Awesome man! I have an outdoor and indoor journal with plants from 1 week to 3 in flower. Im also about to start a Journal documenting the Skywalker OG, Tahoe OG, White Russian, AK47, and a dew other power strains. You should stop by my Strawberry cough and Blueberry Journal though!
