Finally found myself in the situation where a decent-sized indoor grow was possible. Just recently moved out of my old place and into a new one where I have 1.5 bedrooms and 3 closets to grow with. Most of my prior experience with cultivation has been with outdoor plants. I have toyed around with a few indoors, but never seriously or in something larger than a 4x4x4 box.
The Rundown:
I have 11 plants flowering in a 7.5' x 7.5' x 8' tent. 10 of these plants have been under 12/12 light schedule for 9 days, and the 11th plant (runt through most of veg.) was moved in just today. These plants were all grown from seed that I was given by a friend who also grows in the southeast. He initially gave me 16 "White Widow x Sour Diesel" seeds and 3 "Hindu Kush" seeds, but through the process of elimination, I ended up with 10 of my 11 plants being WWxSD, and just 1 Hindu Kush. The girls spent the first half of their veg. cycle outdoors and quite under-nuted because I hadn't gotten moved into the new place yet. Unfortunately while outside the plants stretched out a good bit.
'Bout halfway through veg. I was able to get them moved into the indoor room and since the move, I've been really pushing them to bulk up.
Although I prefer much stockier plants, I'm fairly impressed with these girls and the progress they've made since the move indoors. Generation 2 that hits the flower room will be nothing but the product-plants of very dominant, hardy clones.
1 week after bringing the girls indoors, I took 6 clones total, then a few days before flowering I took roughly another 60 strong clones. I plan on cycling these into the flower room at different times, to kick off a perpetual harvest cycle. Until then they'll remain in a closet under T5 lighting.
Flower Room Lighting:
(2) 4ft., 2-bulb t8. All 4 t8 bulbs have been switched to 4200k bulbs from 6500k.
(1) 4ft., 4-bulb T5 HO. 2 bulbs at 6500k, other 2 at 3000k. (Should be adding another one of these to the room within the next 2-3days.)
(2) 85v.-265v., 15watt, red(650nm) LED.
(1) 85v.-265v., 15 watt, dual-spectrum (460nm. & 650nm.) LED.
Clones:
(1) 2ft., 4-bulb T5 HO. 6500k.
Rooted using Clonex gel and superthrive.
Medium: 75% placed in Jiffy peat pucks inside the dome. 25% placed into rockwool cubes.
Within the week I will have the separate veg. closet finished up just in time to move some of the bigger clones in.
Nutrients/Soil:
Pro-Mix HP Mycorrhizae (+ 1/2 cup of extra perlite to every 5gal. bag)
