You are exactly correct. You're down.

Basically, larger pot = more dirt = larger root mass = more tops. A 600 watt bulb is a good size. Ferts - buy the best you can/use as directed.

Eight of mine are tied up now. Today I just so happened to watch one fall over... "Timber" in slow motion. LOL

My Power Kush is almost done. It needs 55 days flowering. I'll only be able to hit that one once w/Clearex before harvest. The others take 9 weeks. The Widow takes 9/10 weeks.


What are the weeks on yours?

Your pics at the beginning of the thread looked good. I can't wait to see how enchanted you've made them look by now.

yah man im so excited! haha finally made it through... here was the giesel a week before harvest.. this plant was the baby

The giesel was flowering for longer so that was at 8.5 weeks.. all my other girls are at 7 weeks and some change

Probably going to give them at least another few weeks though.. i'm ordering one of those jeweler microscope things for $3 on the internet! 30x should be sufficient.

the DUD has a lot of the water leaves starting to die.. i hear this is normal but it makes me want to give it more nutes >.<

Excellent work.

Certain leaves just die during a certain phase of the plant's life-cycle. Dead leaves = time to order your next batch of seeds!! LOL

I hit mine with the Clearex today. I'll start harvesting in a few days.

I already have my mother plant going strong! 2 ft tall so far and im just growing it under my 150 =]

Im going to get some clones going very soon.. how long do you think I have left? Week 8 ish for these girls now!

The overall hair-look on your plants seem too white from the pics. You've got a week or two for sure. What does the seed manufacture recommend? I wouldn't go much beyond what the manufacture suggests.

I've got that hand held microscope from Radio Shack. Once I grew some Willie Nelson. The Willie is mainly Sativa. Using the microscope, the little Willie globs never looekd amber to me. I wanted kick-ass bud and assumed the longer budding, the better. Needless to say I let it flower for 5 or 6 months. The buds got to be huge - but hidden in the center of the buds was rot. I was disappointed. I let if flower two or three months too long.

Clearex. Mmmm.... I've never used the stuff. I've always done soil and flushed with plain water. The active ingredients in Clearex is "Glucose" and "Sucrose". I'm only using the stuff this time because the hydro guy recommended it as a flush, after using the Advanced line of nutes.

I got a 30x jewelers scope for a few bucks on amazon! works perfect. the hairs on mine are about 50% orange, it's hard to tell because i took those pics under the HPS . it's odd.. my camera phone can't take pictures at all under the HPS but my digital one works fine

i didn't grow from seeds, all clones from a medical dispensary.. the paper they gave me for the chem says 8-12 weeks which isn't much help lol

Double underdawg says 8-9 weeks and the kaia + tangerine are 7-8 weeks but i don't believe that.. i don't think any strain is done in 7 weeks flowering that isn't ruderalis based

I don't get why my chemdawg D plant is pretty much a giant ball of resin and its completely sticky.. and then my DUD is only trichomes on the buds, pretty much 0 crystals on the trim leaves. I saw another person doing the same strain and he noticed the same issue though. Hopefully lack of crystals forming on the leaves surrounding the nugs isn't an indicator of the potency

today was good news and bad news ..

bad news was when i took one of my chemdawg plants out to water, it snapped and fell over lol so i had to harvest it a week early

on the bright side, most of the hairs turned orange and chemdawg D is a strain that generally has mostly white hairs all through flowering =] lots of cloudy trichomes but only about 10% amber but im ok with that!

Here's a nug after i trimmed but it's not totally dry yet

I haven't heard of the darkness period either but if they are ready to be harvested, 24 hours in the dark shouldn't really hurt them, and who knows it might help. How long did you veg before flowering and what was the aprox height of your plants at that transition?

Ugh. I do not enjoy cleaning. Errr...
