first indoor grow

i bought a 96 by 54 htg tent. i am running (3) 600w h p s in parallel.was vegging under t5s. but plants getting too wide (overlapping).i want to veg. for 3 more weeks.

will my GROWBRITE METAL HALIDES veg. ok ??


my 450cfm fan is sucking in the tent walls quite a bit. what can i do??


i'm watering in 5 gal. smart pots in 4 in. high plastic (snug) drip trays.hard to tell when watering,when is enough.any thoughts??

Mh is great for veg.

I would increase your intake(open more flaps if possible) to allow more air flow and less negative pressure.

i will do now,but is there anything when i switch to 12/12 and no light can enter??

Not sure. I don't use tents.... I would assume you could turn the fan off with the lights. But idk if your tent would heat up. If so I would suggest keeping the outer room as dark as possible. Remember there's no such thing as total darkness in nature. Unless you're in a cave. You will always have city lights or at the very least moonlight. So a small glow from somewhere won't hurt.
