Hell ya bluey, good to have ya!
I know I've gone over it before, but DAMN these males have been givin me a lot of bubblehash practice. So I figure I'd go over the procedure in a little more detail.
Step 1 - Get yourself a plant your all done with - Either a male of a female already trimmed. Cut the leaves and stems into about 3-5 inch pieces into a 5 gallon bucket.
Step 2 - Get a BUNCH of ice. Either 2 bags of store bought or a whole freezer box full if your freezer makes it. Dump about half the ice into the bucket onto the trimmings. Add a little water and stir it up.
Step 3 - Stir for about five minutes with either a wooden spoon or a power device. I use a hand held power mixing thingy on the end of my dewalt. Works great for me...
Step 4 - After about five minutes add the rest of the ice and keep stirring another five minutes. The water should be a greenish brown color.
Step 5 - Get yourself a strainer. I use a salad tossing insert inside of a strainer. Then I run it through a window screen three or four times (not in pics). Until the water runs through it without leaving any plant residue.
Step 6 - Let it sit. You want it to sit for at least four hours to fully let the water filter the particles down to the bottom off the bucket.
Step 7 - Siphon off the top layer of the bucket. Take care not to shake or disturb the bucket in a way which would stir up the particulate back into the mixture.
Step 8 - When your down to the bottom where you can see the particles layered in the water, get a plastic container and pour the rest into the container. Let that sit for an hour or so.
Step 9 - When you see the stuff separate in the clear container you can grab a turkey baster and SLOWLY start sucking up the water off the top layer. When you down to the stuff on the bottom. Pour it out onto a plate and stick it on something warm under a light.
Step 10 - After a couple hours start scraping the residue towards the center of the plate, constantly moving, rolling and flipping it to help work out all the moisture. When its dry, work it into a ball and you got yourself some hash BOY!
