Hey everyone
I am a caregiver/ patient w/ 1 patient, and up till now Ive only done outside grows. First one was not great, I didnt know anything, didnt groom, didnt train, got like 1.5 lbs for maybe 8 plants? This year I did an outdoor Scrog with 24 plants in a 10x20 greenhouse (pretty crowded lol) (pics attached) I did lose 2 guys to phytoplasma but such as life..
I have been given an opportunity to take on max patients and access to an indoor grow area. Ive been doing a lot of research into techniques, cloning, light needed, etc and was looking for any opinions on whats the BEST way to get the most from whats available.
1st Room is about 10x12ft
4x1000w HPS bulbs
2nd Room is about the same size
4 hoods with 1000w MH
Ventilation throughout
My question is, I have a benchmark I'm trying to hit - about 50lbs a year.
Is this possible with 72 plants?
I want to do a SOG system for fast turn around and less training needed. And also get a perpetual harvest going
Thinking of doing either 36/36 veg/flower
or
24/24/24 root/veg/flower
Will monster cropping flowering clones work with such short veg times? Ive read it greatly increases yield, but at the cost of time.
Would it be possible to just keep monster cropping each time, essentially making my mother harvest my lowest yield-all further plants from flowered clones?
What is the difference in yield compared to veg clones?
I am also looking into hydro systems and Co2 systems - Really ANYTHING that will max yields
What do you guys recommend? Should I SOG, should I try and take up more room with topping/LST? Does it matter/ (From what Ive read its all about surface area and usable light, number of plants doesnt really matter to an extent)
How true is the 1g/watt expectation? I know its not like you can stick 1 plant under 4 lights and get 9lbs off of it lol
Any tips would be appreciated, Thanks All
