First Indoor Grow-Dinafem White Widow Auto LED

This will be my first indoor grow, and my first time growing autos. I have previously grown outside but recently moved across the country and now have to start growing inside.. Set up is as follows:

Tent: DS60
Light: 2x Mars Hydro 300w
Substrate: 75% FFOF 25% Perlite
Fan/Filter: Have not purchased yet. I think I have at least a month before I have to worry about smell issues/if at all..
Nutes: Undecided
Beans: 2x Dinafem Auto White Widow

Still waiting on beans to show in mail but should be any day now. I have everything else set up and ready to start. Here's a few pics..

Any comments or advice are welcome..

Do you hide the reflection the led gives off through your window ?

Not really a need to hide it.. This grow is legal and I live in a decent area..

Cool man. Are you using passive intakes ? I have the same size tent in about the same area in my apartment.

Yea I was going to go with passive intakes considering I'm using LED, I don't think I will need extra help cooling or circulating. I will hook up a inline going out later though; possibly through a carbon filter if the smell gets too strong

Seen where you're watching and waiting on a bean order to. Ugh even though I have ordered to many times to count I still get anxious and kinda paranoid of it getting flagged/green tape! It's in NY right now. Hopefully everything is cool with yours and mine also. Fingers crossed here

I've always ordered my beans online and never had an issue yet.. I get from the 'tude and I never bother tracking.. only makes me more anxious for its arrival. lol

Went ahead and turned everything on in the tent for 24 hours to see where my heat is at and it was hovering around 90 even with just LEDs so Im ordering an inline fan and ducting for the outtake today.. Hopefully it gets here before the beans so I can jump right into it when they arrive..

Well I don't like that I can't edit my first post but I wanted to add I just ordered the fan.. Going with iPower 4 inch Carbon Filter And Inline Fan Combo.. Its a small space so I hope this is efficient enough..

Seeds have arrived! ! Just dropped two of them in the water and should be in the dirt tomorrow.

Got a good deal on the General Organics Go Box so I'm going to run those as my nutes this time around minus the Bio Marine and Diamond Black. Didnt really plan on going with organic nutes but for 22.99 I had to try it out..

Fan and filter should be here Friday.

Fan/filter have arrived! ! Was a real bitch trying to hang the fan by myself with everything else installed already and in the way but now I know better for next time. Seeds popped after 24 hrs in water so they're in the soil. Now just impatiently waiting to see sprouts. .

Comments, suggestions and criticism welcome. Again this my first indoor grow and first time with autos.. seemed so much easier back east when I could basically plant a few clones, set and forget aside from the occasional watering during drought times..

How far away do you have the LED?

right now its about 24 inches.. waiting for them to break ground and produce a true set of leaves before I drop them down..

I honestly don't know man I was just seeing what you do lol. I'm barely on my first grow haha

I've read a lot online and have Jorge Cervantes grow bible though its old enough to omit good information on LEDs or autos but has come in handy on previous outdoor grows..

I'm going to drop them down to 20-21 inches after they're established. And run 20/4 light schedule.

Also before I added the fan/filter today, my temps hovered around 90F during the hot times of the day but now its stayed down around 72-74.

Going to pick up a few ph strips this weekend to test my tap water and see if I can get away with using it. Hope if its off that its at least in the fixable range. Dont really want to buy a lot of water.

You growing autos?

Both pots have sprouts sticking up!!

Bought a ph and chlorine test kit today and my water is on the alkaline side but can easily be fixed with vinegar. There is some chlorine in the water but nothing letting it air out won't take care of.

Tried to get pics of the sprouts but the LEDs color make them hard to see.. will update again in a few days when they're established

Quick update. Both look good. Just giving them distilled water around the base of the seedling probably once every 3-4 days. Today is day 6 from sprout.

On one of tge plants I notice the center is red colored.. any idea what this is?

Day 11 from sprout. Looking good. Already have shoots growing out of the nodes and the damn things aren't even 3" tall yet. First set of leaves looked like they were either getting heat or wind stress so I raised the lights to 24" and moved the fan. Still just giving distilled water every 4 days or so. Might add nutes at 1/8 strength with the next watering but not sure yet..

Plants look healthy and happy. Going to start adding cal/mag on next watering but that's it for now. Will start bloom nutes week 4 probably. .

Decided to experiment a bit and lst one of the widows today to compare yield with one left alone.
