AS long as you haven't met the Add Back Rule or the PH Rule you shouldn't need to change the rez, just top it up.

I have been following Earls Addvice with great results.

UPDATE:

Here is my plant at 3 weeks, but i just transplanted to Hydro
so its been 2 weeks in soil and 1 week in hydro


the plant looks a little droopy to me, but the color is looking good

What Nutez you using?

Oh, you just repoted, give it a couple of days so.

and the water level is just about at the bottom of the rockwool

the roots might still be recovering from the transplant, so yeah like you said
ill give it a couple days

Make sure the rockwall isn't too wet it should be damp not wet <--- I read that somewhere

Do you have a EC or TDS Meter? You will need one for growing DWC.

I have been told that they are very good Nutes to use. It might also be worth checking out this thread if you didn't already read it. On page two there is a guide to using those nutez in DWC.

well my parents just found out about this
and they werent to happy
i had to toss my plant
and now i have to get rid of my Set-Up
i spent over $200 on everything

Your setup looks nice man, very inspiring for me. It also answers some questions I've had about reservoir size.


As for your loud aquarium air pump, it's all about placement. Unless it was super super cheap and the motor itself is loud, nearly all your sound comes from vibration. I always set my aquarium pumps on a brand new thick white footy sock. Cuts down on noise drastically. If you want something a bit more professional looking than well, a sock, buy some felt, cut it in 4ths, lightly glue them together, and then cut out felt spacers to put under your pump.
