i decided to go ahead and give an update on my babies situation. My new seeds came in yesterday and so ill be moving my current vegging batch to flower very soon. Tonight is supposed to ventilation set up night. Its gonna be a blastI have 3 squirrel cage fans i got off ebay that should come in soon and will be coolin the cooltube and all the rooms. But anyways my babies are a little over 2 weeks old and are all in between 5 and 6 inches and very bushy. They are really lookin healthy and i cant wait to move them to flower. Since they are bagseed i can only hope for a short flowering time but who knows
on a side note camaro your name hints at an affinity for cars with power, you got any badass rides.

ok i will definitely check that out im actually supposed to build an aerocloner tonight. but yea my air stones are from wally world where do you recommend i get them because the way that the rez is set up in one of my 2 set ups there is a few inches of water that the roots are just now starting to touch. but yea if you can recommend any name brands or links itd help alot. thanks lookin in and happy growin.

I got mine from a pet store. Anything is better than those, I got some green colored ones(don't know brand). run them in plain water to clean them out before use. they will be fine in a few inches of water, be sure to keep an eye on that small of res and top that bitch off----how many gallons are the res'?

ok the there are pics of the rez at the beginning of the thread they but theres about 5 gallons in each and they are probably 1/3 full. and i do plan on addin some more water soon and increasing the nutes they are still at 1/4 strength prolly gonna go to 1/2
as for you camaro. the one thing i got worth mentioning is a 66 mustang fastback with a stroked 408 racing motor in. the thing is a beast. its probably pushing 550 hp 450 tq at the rear wheels it was originally meant to be a shelby clone but my dad went all out setting it up for road racing now its barely driven, such a shame. i used to have a porsche 944 but it wasnt anything quick like what you got. my current ride is a bmw 323is but im a car guy and my dream car is a 911 gt3. one day..... but you should post a pic of your ride set up sounds pretty tight. sounds like they are unreal i mean thats just so much power.
on a side note just got back from the home depot. dropped another bunch of moneys for my flowering set up is gonna be either a v set up or stadium set up trying to go for efficiency to get the max grams per watts. i really want to go vert but im not experienced enough yet. but i got a camera and no memory card so once i grab that ill get yall pics

k so heres my first pic update in a while thank god i finally was able to borrow a camera from a friend. my babies are 3 weeks old ive made a few modifications and have started on the flowering room but due to a dispute between me and my roommate im not sure how we are gonna do it yet cause im sure as hell not giving him my whole closet, i have a lot of clothes and they belong not on my floor.
ok here are some pics with them under the lights.
some new bagseed sprouts layin on top of the light
here is rez 1 with the lights lifted up, lookin healthy
and here is rez 2, these guys are a few days behind and 1 didnt make itso he was replaced with some other bagseed
would show pics of the roots but i keep getting some error, maybe next time
and finally heres the 600w cooltube with the new reflector i made for it
the next step is gonna be to get my green spirit sprouts into veg they are ready to be put into rockwool and to start vegging but im somewhat delayed by lack of a room to flower them in.
if anyone has any comment suggestions or just wants to say anything feel free. happy growin

thanks, this is my first non soil grow as well but everything is goin great. the new reflector for the cooltube was easy, i went to home depot and to 2 dryer vent things that are alreay kinda curved and curved them more. what kind of lighting set up are you gonna have and what kinda aero set are you getting. we made all our stuff from scratch.
ill be glad to help as much as possible theres a million more people out there that know more than me but i do what i can

wow very very nice my set each hydro set up it self was no more than 70 bucks including pump but all in all ive dropped 1.1k so far thats including cool tube nutes, timers, fans, etc and just about everything you need for a grow. i already own all the stuff you need to make it with drills, saws, and cutters. if i was at home i would have insane access to pneumatic tools but bein in college, im not so close to home. but i look at it as an investment. i may have to sell a little to recoup some loss but in the long run its well worth it. ive also spent money on seeds. which by the way so far ive had a 100% germ rate on the ones ive germed so far.
and your light set up sounds like the shit. i cant wait to see what you can do with that equipment i just have 4 4ft t5 fluoros and thats what i think they are and i put plant spectrum bulbs in there and they work great for veg. but for flowering my hps is gonna be the shit. im already thinkin about getting a second one but well see i dont know how much room im gonna have. and for security reasons im still debating getting a doberman or rotweiler. but thats it for me today. keep me posted

ok so today set up the ventilation. i took a fan and attached to blow air through the cooltube straight outside via the attic. i took a 15ft 4inch dryer hose and ran it to the otherside of the house attic area and plan on it taking air from the outside. im gonna see how it works as a passive intake but when the squirrel cage fans get here my permanet set up will be different.
the plants are doin beautifully. the green spirit sprouts are alll lookin like they should and the one skunk haze sprout looks like its doin fine as well. but well see
i should up the nutes but im kinda lazy and they are so close to flowering that ill just wait till then.

ok so literally all day yesterday we worked in the attic installing ventilation and trying to get set up. it must have been 110 degrees in there and getting anything done up there was so hard because your limited so much in how much space you have to move. i was physically crawling through that insulation shit but we got it done.
we only have a few more things to do with it that we cant do until my squirrel cage fans arrive. Although i was able to set up a makeshift (extremely)shitty exhaust pushing air through the cooltube and setting up a passive intake. i was able to bring down the temps in the room from about 100degrees down to about 92. when the squirrel cage fans arrive im sure i can down that to at least 85 and i have an ac unit on its way this weekend that ill be getting for the free. so with that i think i can keep my grow at a constant 80 or less with lots of air circulation. ill get pics when i can borrow my friends camera.
plants are lookin healthy i fimmed one just to get some practice and to see what happens. i want to learn as much from this grow as possible. i hope i did it right lol.
i also up the nutes to about 700-800ppm in one of the rezes and completely changed out all the water. got the ph to 5.6 and left it. today im gonna up the nutes on the other rez but i probably wont change out the water. my plants are seriously still taking off and i cant believe the growth im seeing compared to my last soil grow.
