First Hydro Drip System, T5s and 400w HPS

OK so the clones that are still on the dome will not show me roots. I have never used Rapid Rotter before but I have had been cloning for a while( about a year). It has been well over 15 days. I guess I will just continue to wait.
I the ones under the drip system are doing great. Healthy roots and all. I lowered my room temp the other day in hope to cool down the res, may help slow algae growth till I can buy a chiller or find a way to cool the res down.

lol. Damn reflective material. I dont think you would be able to tell it was me even if i was standing in front of you.
Ok so I lied I do have one clone that did root in the Rapid rooter, Hi new mother. The others are now in rockwool. I am just way more confident in the rockwool then I will ever be with the rapid rooters.
The mother is in FF Ocean Forest.

You grow looks like it's doing better.
I use Rapid Rooter for my clones.
This is 7 days in a humidty dome.
I keep my T5s about 19-24" above plants until they reach 15-18" then I lower it to 12-15".
Fim is not like top it's when You cut 2/3rds off the top leafs. The newest set.
Then you will have 4-6 tops come up (explained in picture) then if you wait 2 weeks and fim all those tops you get another 4-6 per top so thats like 20-24 tops. Then you can get your 400hps closer to a canopy of tops.

I am not sure but I am leaning on no. You should have leaves pointing up on the sides of the cut. Basicly you cut the inner leafs and the one that are trying to open you leaf alone. But hey watch and see what happens in about 7-10 days. Don't touch anything and record what you did and keep that picture for reference.

Ah I see what you are saying. Yea I did it wrong. I am kinda wondering whats going to happen my self. if not ill just top it and call it lesson learned.

A true lesson learned is to let it finish like it is. How else will you know what the lesson is? Besides it was a mistake that was made that gave us the FIM. Story goes ~ A guy was topping his plant and said " Fuck I Missed " (F.I.M.) and there we go. If he did not let it grow out we would never of known

Ha good point. I know this is kinda a wal-mart hydro system but its just a test for me to see if I could do it. If everything goes well then I will better the system. I have been growing in soil for about a year now and I have a real addiction to this hobby now. Didnt realize how expensive it would be.

I am soil, always have been always will be. My start up was 700 in veg and 750 in flower. I bought equipment as needed. Like seeds first and lights then nutes as needed, fans, humidifier, etc. within 9 weeks I was up to 700. Then it was time to get flower room togther, well the money kept pouring out. I started with droping just 600, thought that was it, well then I needed this and that and there goes 50, then I break my ph meter so I had to run to hydro store and there goes another 86$. I am so happy I am done with spending for set up. This friday I have to go buy FF Beastie Bloomz, thats 35$ but well worth it.

A pic update. So yea I miss bad. Should have done a little nor research before making that cut so I will call it"FIRM" fuck I really missed.
Im hoping the clones will show me roots in the next couple of days. We will see.
The new mother is in the pot. Finally, my last mother died of some kind of disease.
The last picture is an older one of the plants I harvested about 3 weeks about. Its not fun having any plants to go to that room right now. But will have continue to wait for the clones and mother before I put the only growing plants in the flowing room.
