First harvest. My NL getting close?

Looks good. I tried to wet trim once, never again. Hay city and I dry slowly. Been dry trimming ever since. But they look good, and hopefully taste as good as they look.
That's funny, I've had the opposite experience. I used to hang dry slowly then trim and my buds would smell like hay for the first couple weeks while they cured. Now I wet trim and put them in a Wedryer and the smell great the whole time.

This is why I always recommend new growers try multiple methods for drying and curing until they're happy with the results. I don't think there's just one right way to do it.

I 150% agree. As you can see, what worked for me didn’t work for you, and vice versa. It’s all about finding what works for your specific situation, and apparently you found it.

I’ll preface this by stating that I do have a little hay smell to my buds chopped 9 days ago. But it was already a pain in the ass to trim them wet, I can’t imagine how Much more of a shitty job it would be when the leaves are all curled in and stuff

What's the time frame on trichs changing colors from week to week. Trichomes still clear more red hairs coming for bottom colas. Main cola look to be just fattening up

Varies by strain and environment. No way to know. I've had some strains progress slow and methodically, and other change overnight. Just need to keep checking periodically.

It’s not as hard as you may think. I thought the same thing when they are dry. True, it is more time consuming, and probably my least favorite part of the whole process, but the sugars honestly just fall off with not much effort involved. Some are obviously harder to remove than others, but still relatively easy to do. But that’s my personal experience.

Yeah maybe you could even do it without scissors for most of them

Tested ppm after watering this morning and was at 2200ppm. Idk if it climbed after I recharged the soil with top dressing.

Being close to harvest I'll ride with it. Both autos drinking about two gallons each a week now.

Trichomes still clear. At 60 days today. She may be adding more weight because shes starting to lean as if the main cola is becoming to heavy
