Should I harvest? If not, when?
Don't have a microscope yet to look for cloudy trichs, I recalled I'd need it too late, I'll be here in about a week, so maybe it won't be relevant for this girl, but maybe for the other one it will...

I should mention It's Sannie's Sugar Punch, a sativa dominant strain, and I'm trying to aim for a head-high.

Here's some bud shots(and a link to the album at the bottom):

Much more Pics in Here.

Thanks!

Beautiful stock there my friend. I pull a day after 10% ambering of the tricomes, so I have a set method (use a jewlers loupe 30x mag). I know a lot of very experienced guys can just look at the plants and tell. The plants mature and begin to naturally draw nutrients from the plants, so the girl will be feeding less and beginning to pull from the leaves. The tricomes don't need to be amber, but they should not appear milky or smokey. early pull- hyper buzz, late pull stoney feel. Due to the aging of the tricomes, the plant will degrade in THC %. On the other hand, typically as the THC drops a bit the CBD and CBN and other cannabinoids raise in % because they, if my mind serves me right are a biproduct of the degradation of THC.

Here is a way that isn't realy great but might help to not cut to erly. Fill a smooth round glass with water. Get a dark paper. Hold paper to bud look thru the side of the glass move till you can see some trics next to the paper. If they are bending over cut now. If not give it a few days.

But looks ready to me.

I'm pretty sure you could harvest it right this moment if you would like. But those new pistiles on the first pic are goping to grow more, if you give it another week you could increase your harvest. At most a week in a half.

Its day 56 now, official flowering time is 63-70 days, though its similar to a pheno of this strain I saw someone grow(slight purple and huge yield compared to the two others), and it took him about 11 weeks...

Oh and thanks for the tips!

Thc does not degrade to cbd it degrades to cbn. Cbn has very little medicinal value at all.I would still let it go two weeks your just building crystals at this point.

CBN is good for sleep and pain and a good heavy stone. I use high CBN every night before bed and it is all that works. Not ambien, lunesta, sonata, none of it.
