First Grow

These are a few of the plant's I have currently. They will be hitting their two week mark tomorrow and i'm wondering if they look healthy. This is my first marijuana grow so any tips would be nice. They are all about 2 1/2 inches and most are working working on the 3rd node. My question is about little "tannish" specs as you can see in the photos. Is this a manganese deficiency? Any pointers would be great I am running a 8 bulb hydrofarm T5 designer rig at the moment w/ 3 gallon grow pots with 70 FFOF/30HappyFrog thanks!

You are not going to note deficiency for quite a while. Refrain from fertilizing at all for at least 3 weeks.

Thank you gents, I have used no fertilizer as of yet i'm going to wait about another week. These are loose seeds, how long before I will be able to tell the sex? I see the skin "flaps" that hid the organs but there very small at this point.

my jack herer didnt show sex until i changed the light cycle after about 5 weeks of veg. going on 3rd week into flower and many bud sites and alternating nodes now

Yep, looks good. I had some much worse looking light-tan splotches on my WW and she grew out of it and is doing fantastic. Yours look happy.

Sex on my 5 plants showed up about 10 days into flower stage, which was quicker than I thought - but I'm using 11/13 light schedule. Males showed first.

Looks good! I use 24hr light for 30 days and give em 24hr dark and then 12/12 (sometimes straight to 12/12 but if doesn't show in week I give it 24hr dark). The 24hr dark jumps start em and will usually show within days and also separates any prone to hermie.

In late 90's all would show male/female within 2 days after giving 24hr dark after 30 day veg at 24hr....now weeks sometimes!

course no fem seeds then and no autos and few 6 week strains
