First Grow

Ok so my camera quit working again so I'm still lacking any pics of the Panda Film on my walls, I'll tell you though, it looks pretty nice. Right now I'm wondering how soon I should start budding my clones? And, would it be productive to bud the mothers too as I don't have a veg room in this house (I plan on building a veg-box for the tiny babies but I still havent done that yet)? If I do bud the mothers will I be able to bring them back to veg again afterwards? This has already been done to them once so I was thinking I could just do it again. And now, last but not least, how much longer until the minimum age I could bud the seedlings at? Remember I'm not looking for a cycle, just one big crop before summer so I can move into a bigger place when summer rolls around.

Alright, I moved the babies into bags, theres 4 to a bag in some places but the bags are almost 5 gallons, and I figure I'll be cutting the males out anyways. I probably wont be able to bud them for at least another two to two and a half weeks so the clones will have to wait too. If I don't bud my clones for another 2 weeks or more they will have vegged here for well over a month. How big will they get, and will I have enough room for them? I'm hoping I don't over grow my room. I do however have the ability to go pick up another 1000w light if I need it. Anyways, Im going to bed, thats enough rambling for the night.

Big Picture Up-dates. Please look closely, I have a few questions you guys will only be able to answer.

Hash Plant Seedling:

Ch-9 Seedling:

My Favorite Seedling, bag seed from the coors light can:

Possilbe Male Pre-Flowers???? Please tell me what you think?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

New pics of the whole room, check out how big my moms are getting and all the panda film on the walls... oooo yeaaah:

Ok so the questions I have are as follows:
1. Are those male pre-flowers? I'm NOT in 12/12 yet so keep that in mind and tell me what you think.

2. How soon should I be able to start budding my seedlings and at minimum how big/tall will they possibly get?

3. Should I bud my mother plants along with everything since I have no veg room right now? And will I be able to re veg them later? (They've already been re vegged once.)

Now for some more info. Just put those seedlings in bags 2 days ago and they really took off. I gave them straight water after the move but plan on starting them on the nutes all the clones and mothers are getting as soon as they dry out (possibly this evening). Also, I'm really worried about those 2 clones with those strange pre flower things on them. They look like the beginning of new branches and leaves to me but they have yet to open, other formations like this on the plant opened, poked out a few pistils, and stread apart already. What do you guys think? Please help me out.

Id say no to the male pre-flowers. Those dont look like pollen sacks, but Im not sure what they are.

They will double in size when you flower them. Unless you top. I would atleast veg a month, wait till their atleast a ft. before you flower...

I would suggest flowering the mothers since you have no room left. And now I wouldnt suggest re-veg.

Thanks for quick reply. I wasn't thinking male quite yet but I'm definately watching those two closely. What if I cloned my moms now and just left them in a little CFL veg box or something? How many clones would I need to take off of each to ensure I got a successful one growing, and, would they still be ready to bud by the time the seedlings were?? I just don't want to lose the mother strains, they are some good smoke, I smoked their last batch my buddy had before he gave them to me and it put me on my ass for sure.

Edit: I hit my plants with liquid light again yesterday too. Forgot to tell you guys about that. I'm hoping it helps, they seem to be loving it in there.

1. Are those male pre-flowers? I'm NOT in 12/12 yet so keep that in mind and tell me what you think.

Hard to tell. It looks more Female to me but its early to see preflowers. It happens though. If there was a small stem with a ball shape on the end... that would be a Male. Those look more elongated rather than spherical but like I said... Its early to say 100% sure but I am leaning towards Female.

2. How soon should I be able to start budding my seedlings and at minimum how big/tall will they possibly get?

It depends on the strain really. Sativa's tend to be taller, Indica's smaller. I would say Veg until they are about 12"-15" tall, or about 5 weeks in. Flowering at 15" tall, the plant shouldn't get over 5 feet tall, Indica or Sativa, leaving you a couple feet for your light. That is if your not topping or anything else... which I assume your not since height is really not a big issue for you.

3. Should I bud my mother plants along with everything since I have no veg room right now? And will I be able to re veg them later? (They've already been re vegged once.)

Like you said, I think you should take a few clones and bud that mother plant. Like you said, make a small CFL/MH Veg box, never let the plant get real tall and you should be able to keep her around just fine. If your worried about your clone not making it, plant a couple. Any 1 clone you take SHOULD make it.

The other thing I noticed is that it looks like you have two plants in 1 bag?? It would be in your best interest to relocate one of them to its own bag/container before the roots really get going.
What will happen is 2 things. 1 your plants will intertwine their roots, increasing the probability of a root bound mess/death. 2, if the plants are calling for different nutrients than the other, it makes it hard (next to impossible) to give an amount specific dose to 1 plant. One of the 15 - 5 Gallon buckets you have sittin around would work fine :)

Oh and by the way, your room looks tight bro. I wanna say "Now you growin" but techincally just the walls changed... lol u were already growin, now it just looks like you know what your doing. Actually I am really diggin your setup, has went from being a little scattered (still nice) to a nice clean professional look. Props on a job well done +rep... Also you are gonna have a TON of bud... You got me hooked now- I`ll be checking back.. :joint::peace:

Sorry, My answer on question 2 didn't really pertain directly to your question. The soonest you can start to flower is from Day 1. Idealistically, the first answer I gave for your second question holds valid.

I'm not too worried about the plants in the same bag. One, I'm out of soil, two, I'm out of money, and three, they're all bag seeds anyways so I'm gonna be chopping out the males right after budding starts. If I end up having to move them I will but right now it's the best option I have and the ones I'm really worried about (the actual strained and femmed seeds) are in their own containers. I'm thinking these plants are going to get so damn big anyways I'm not going to have room or light enough for all of them... unless I get the second 1000w. :)

with the clones it really depends on how much room you have. I would take 5 clones... but make sure you use a good razor blade, and get some cloning gel... It takes about 3 days to a week for the clone to root so It really depends on how far off your seedlings are to see if you can flower them at the same time...

well I dont want to flower those clones too, I just want to know if the mothers will recover enough to flower after I take a few cuttings off of them.

Whew, I decided the seedlings we're definitely big enough to handle my nutes now so I decided to feed them yesterday morning, then I left town and didn't get back until a few hours ago. I'm happy to say that they LOVED it. The seedlings just about doubled in size I think. :D Too bad my camera is again fucked... it eats more batteries than I smoke bowls. Anyways I'll get pics up asap. Peace.
