Hi, this is my first attempt at growing some plants and at this stage I would appreciate some advice. I bought two different packets of seeds from Amsterdam labelled Amsterdam Skunk and Purple Haze.
They were not feminized seeds but didnt particularly cost a great deal of money, around 55 euro's for the two packs. I would say the grow setup has worked ok for a first attempt. The plants have grown well for the limited space and the low wattage lighting. They had an 18/6 light cycle for the vegetative stage for a period of two months and then I switched the lighting to a 12/12 around one month ago.
My main concern is that the plants seem to have both male and female traits. There are four plants and all of them seem to be hermaphrodite with pollen sacks but also buds as well. I can even see the THC on the buds and surrounding small leaves. What has gone wrong and caused this to happen. Have the females already been pollinated by a couple of males that I took out earlier (but not nearly enough) on in the vegetative stage. Is this normal and will I still obtain a small harvest if I continue or is it time to abandon this one and put it down to experience? I have a linked photos for your opinion. Thanks for your time.
