This is my first grow and just want to make sure my plant is on schedule and looking good for its age under CFLs. the plant is about 2 and half weeks.

I don't know man, that looks kind of small but then again I don't know what your light schedule is, how many lights, etc. Looks healthy but a bit stretched.

It looks like it can't support itself in the pic. I would carefully add a little more soil, building it up to about a cm or 2 below the lowest leaf, as the stem looks weak and stretched. If the plant has a better basis it can spend more energy on developement and less on trying to survive.

The basic answer is no. It does not look as well as it should.

What I did on one of my plants was cut a straw in half, and then cut it down the side, so that i could put it around the stem, and then push the bottom end of the straw into the soil, supporting the plant... that was only temporary.

And how did that work out did u have the same stretched problem i do.

Filled it with some soil and gave it some nuts. i think it is looking better. Do i need to add some more soil or just see how it goes and if i see it start falling add some more soil?

thanx man i will do that tomorrow morning. and how long do u think it will take till the stem is able to hold the plant

well its seems to me mate that its already supporting it since you added more soil, judging my the pic you added. now you should get a fan an stick it on the plant. this will simulate natural wind and strengthen the stem. and obviously more light to halt the stretching.

Thanx Man. i will raise the plant on a box and turn my 2 X 120 mm and turn the speed on low and slowly speed the fans up. and yea i had 2 100 watt cfl right next to each other . now i added a 3rd one hopefully that will work
