livininpeace- i would highly recommend going and getting yourself a bag or two of fox farm... i noticed a diff the next day after transplant... after looking at the balls when i transplanted i noticed the mg looked like shit and was just a clump of light brown dirt that wasn't draining my water down to the bottom of the cup

Just look for slugs early in the morning if you put them close to bushes are something!

The little bastards are slow but theyll take some nibbles and bounce the fuck out!!!!:cuss:

Just make sure your leaves arent touching no walls are nutting and place a salt ring around the base of the steam...and presto!.......
When the slugs come its like walking on landmines!:fire:

askwhat- i want to say about a month exactly now, im a little hazy on the exact day i started them all as it was a couple day long span:eyesmoke:

droxster thanks a ton for the advice, i was thinking about putting up small fences for each plant and then a ring of salt and redpepper, layered land mines. Instead of fences i may just use some fishing line and make a perimeter around them at about a foot and tree feet high. I don't want rabbits either though.

yesterday from lowes i bought a combination of:

1. two 40 pound bags of humus/manure(garden pro brand i thnk)

2. two 40 pount bags of potting soil(garden pro)

3. one 75 pound bag of tree/shrub soil mix with fertilizer to feed over time

4. one huge 3.5 cu square block of the premier peat moss

5. The leftover fox farm and mg bags i have left.

I am so sore from lugging that shit about a half mile yesterday.

just got done digging six holes about 1'x2', the soil is clayish but decent for about 8 inches then it turns to red clay and some rocks (size of a raquetball) but overall decent i believe... i cleared out some thorns and believe my spots are pretty decent and hidden in well... ill get some pictures when i plant tmw morning hopefully...
