lol its only 21:30 too early for a snooze
4 weeks into flower those plants shouldn't look like that.Hi,
I'm not sure if it's an issue or not. After around 4 weeks of flowering (12/12) the leaves around the buds are quite yellow. Unknown strain. Temperature was around 20C for the month and humidity below 50%.
Any ideas would be appreciated, I can't pin down a specific issue, if there is any.

Thanks bravedave.Medium?
Nutes? How much? How often? Adding any Mg?
Yellowing started at top? Or just made its way there?
Water schedule?
What do you think it is?
Ha. That's more info. Your NPK numbers are a bit weird for bloom bit I grow in peat and am unsure if you hydro boys require something different. With the yellowing moving down, its not classic N deficiency (or lockout) but sure looks that way. Your mix certainly is more complicated than it could be. Last 2 grows I have gone 20/10/20 for pretty much the whole grow with good results. Hopefully someone with more hydro exp will chime in.So, if my maths are correct... In my 10L reservoir I currently have the following nutrients (excl. trace elements):
Is this too little/much?
- Nitrogen (N) at 0.183g
- Phosphorus (P) at 0.073375g
- Potassium (K) at 0.27475g
- Magnesium (Mg) at 0.045g
- Sulphur (S) at 0.071g
- Calcium (Ca) at 0.166g
Does anybody have a detailed feeding schedule?
I have experienced both bleaching and light burn due to heat. This looks like neither.@churchhaze you would be better at analysing the OPs nutrient mix as far as if its missing anything or too high in one thing or another. Hope you don't mind me shouting you over.
Still think its possible light burn with the way its presenting itself, the curling under badly and yellowing, but with only 270w of led string there is likely much more to it. Clearly its not N def, its tops and bottoms look very dark which would not be the case. Thought about late stages of N tox but no sign of burnt tips even if the leaves are very dark lower down and clawing.
Anyway I'm speculating here, which isn't helpful, so input from you would be appreciated.
BraveDave, just re read that, I was not implying he would be better than you at analysing the mix, I hope you did not think that, Better than me because its almost double dutch to me. Its just I have read a lot of his comments on other threads regarding mixing his own from salts. I have no knowledge of what you do or don't do. I apologise if it read like that, or I didn't think about how it would read!I have experienced both bleaching and light burn due to heat. This looks like neither.
No, I am behind your call out to Church. I find his numbers odd but I don't follow hydroponic grows. Just like your discounting N def. I just feel the plants show feeding on itself LIKE it lacked N, more than a result of any light burn.BraveDave, just re read that, I was not implying he would be better than you at analysing the mix, I hope you did not think that, Better than me because its almost double dutch to me. Does look similar, but note tips and brown edges.View attachment 3724830 This is light burn, which is what I am comparing it to. Granted its not my pic, from researching, the only time I have seen it in real life was once on the tops of my buds.
Aren't you supposed to use equal parts of A and B? Too much calcium nitrate will lock out magnesium and iron.Nutes are a locally produced mixtures labelled Hydroponics Nutrient A, B and bloom booster. I'm currently adding about 10ml, 15ml and 5ml per 1 litre of water respectively.
